Worry no more, part two.

GREER FELT AN UNFAMILIAR HEAT ON HER FACE. She wasn't used to waking with the sun. "Good morning, Gre." Lockwood's voice came out hoarse as he spoke, his face nestled in the tangle of her hair.

He hadn't been able to quiet her weeping the night before— not until exhaustion had caught up to her and pulled her into sleep. Cradled in his arms, the two of them tangled on the couch. Greer does not want to go to his room and she wishes to be alone, but Lockwood knew her too well.

He stayed and patiently, waited until her breathing steadied, and when he was certain that she had drifted far enough into her dreams. Only then did he dare to carefully gather her into his arms, lift her, and bring her to his room.

"Morning." Greer let out a quiet yawn, snuggling deeper into his warmth, avoiding the touch of the sunbeam.

"You should eat," Lockwood said, Greer hummed in response, not sure if she thought the same. She just wants to stay in bed for a while and the whole day "George will be waiting for us, especially since he knows that you're not in the library." Lockwood told her "You go first." Greer said before turning away from him and going under the sheets.

"No." Lockwood said as he pulled away the sheets from her "Lockwood." Greer groaned and tried to go under the sheets for the second time "I'm not going to leave you here alone." She rolled her eyes before she sat up and glared at him "Come on lour. Don't be like this." Lockwood begged the frowning girl.

"Alright, Alright." Greer said and brush her hair out of her face "That's what I thought." Lockwood chuckled before he sat up and rest his head on the headboard "Go get a shirt, Lockwood." Greer said as she nudge him.

"Alright, Alright," Lockwood said before standing up, the moment he stood up, Greer lay down again "Oh, nice one, lour," Lockwood said as he shake his head "I wanted to sleep, please." great begged as she pulled the cover to cover her face "Alright." Lockwood chuckled in defeat and let the girl have the cover "Feel free to occupy my bed." He added.

"Thank you, Woody. That means a lot to me." She smiled at him, though she knows he can't see her "Anything for you. Now go get a rest." Lockwood said, "And I'll be downstairs." He added. Greer just hummed in response before closing her eyes and finally falling asleep.

When Greer woke up, confused about what time it is, she gaze up at the clock on Lockwood's wall and saw that it was already three o'clock sharp. She's been asleep for nine hours since Lockwood had left her in his room. Though, she still felt sleepy and she felt tired. But, she forces herself to get up.

It was quiet, no Lockwood, and George's door is open. That's unusual because every morning she wakes up, she can sense Lockwood's arrogance and she can hear his voice.

When she made her way downstairs— with her head down as she passes by George's room— She heard someone in the kitchen and she went to go to see it and saw the new member of the company who's name is Lucy.

"Hello." Greer greeted the girl as she gave her a warm smile "Oh, hi." Lucy returned the smile awkwardly and she's trying not to show it "Where are the boys?" Greer asked though she doesn't expect her to know because she doesn't even know where are they most of the time.

"They went somewhere after meeting with a client, they didn't tell me where. Sorry." See? "Oh, it's alright." Greer chuckled at the girl "So, how you finding portland row?" She asked Lucy, trying to be friendly as much as possible.

"Lovely." Lucy replied, "Sorry, I woke up too late, you must felt lonely here." Greer apologize while she put the kettle on "Not at all, I don't mind. I tried not to make a sound though when I checked at the library, you weren't there." Lucy said.
