Who is he?

Before I know it were saying our goodbyes and leaving for the train, I grip on to my mother as we both cry into each others arms, "I'll come back soon, I promise".

I weep loudly as the train takes off back to district 12, snuggled into Peeta's strong arm I slowly drift off to sleep.

"Momma, momma where's dad?" Screams a small blonde haired boy, he looks at me with desperate eyes and I feel that I should comfort him.

"It's ok Finn, he's coming home now, it was just a dream". A small brown haired girl whispers softly to him, her words swim around my ears as if she sang them.

He goes rigid in my arms then relaxes, the girl wanders around a while, like she is searching for something and then pulls out a small teddybear from under the table, "there you go finn, do you feel better now?" Her voice is so soothing even I feel calm in this strange environment.

The girl, she can't be more than 8 years of age, buzzes around the room busily, tidying away the colouring crayons spread across the big oak table, I catch sight of one of the drawings, a bright orange sunset across a meadow, this somehow reminds me of Peeta's love for the colour orange, sunset orange.

There is a loud door opening and a stream of light comes through. "Sorry I'm so late sweetheart, I had to close up shop" the light blocks the mans face as he walks through the room.

"Daddy, Finn got upset, I gave him the teddy but he's gone to bed".

"Thankyou Rosey, I'll go and see if he's ok", the girl smiles and the man walks away.

There's a sharp jolt and I'm awake just to watch us pull into the station.

Who was that I wonder, why was he in my dream, who were the children? My mind wanders and Peeta has to pull me back to reality.

"Come on sweetie we don't want to sit on here all day",pulling me out of the carriage on to the platform.
