Soft pattings woke me up, pulling my eyes open. I saw Imani's adorable face shoved in my sleepy face. My eyes distorted her figure, "Leo, wake!" She squished my cheeks making me push away sitting up upon my headboard.

"I am waking now, thank you," I muttered slightly sarcastically, after yesterday's events. She still had some pain in her arm, and Ebony was agitated.

Feeding her along with making she sure doesn't bear anything too heavy. But she has finally got some rest, and I wonder what Imani has been doing roaming around. It looks like she has already got some glue on her face and along her arms.

"Help me 'aint, puh-lease." She throbbed her bottom lip making me share a deep chuckle, my voice was still raw; I hoped some water would soothe it.

Rolling out of bed, she stretched her arm out leading the way. The clock struck five times, leaving me in awe.

How long has she been awake, and how did my guard not think to notify me? Someone is getting fired.

"Paint wid me!" I watched as she sat down on the floor, grabbed a toothbrush, and dragged it across an A4 sheet of paper which had colours ranging from royal blue to a blood-red shade.

She loves painting, so I assumed we had left it out in easy reach for her to grab. "This is a very pretty picture." I sat next to her, crossing my legs. My throat felt dry, but the proud feeling made that inconvenience a minor thought.

She giggled, "Help?"

"The magic word?" I learnt this as Ebony told me to remind her to use manners, "Please!"

Grinning I joined her, yet I opted to use my fingers rather than wasting another toothbrush.

Yawing, Imani smiled grinning with wide eyes at her new creation. The sun blessed her painting, "You happy?" I questioned, "Mhm, I do good."

She wasn't wrong, even though she might find painting fun. I want to see if she would like to do this with more time and practice designated for her to paint.

I will look with Ebony for groups and some toddler classes. "Now, you need some sleep." I poked her side, trying not to get some paint on her white vest.

"Stay with!"

You can't say no to her. Sitting down, we watched in awe as the sun rose just for us. I had never gotten a chance to be awoken by a beautiful sky.

I normally wake up with business on my mind, and sleep in just an extra thing added to my schedule by Rosemary so I do not feel sick like I previously used to all the time.

I am so blessed to have her around me, supporting me through my struggles. Although she disapproves of the killings that come with my job, she always prays for me—having my best intentions at the core of her heart.
