David's POV

Someone knocks on the front door about five minutes after I hung up with Hayden, and I get up and rush to the door.

I open it, revealing Hayden, Brandon (obviously. Where Hayden goes, Brandon goes), Benn, and Andrew.

"What's up, Dave?" Benn asks me and they walk inside.

"Delilah's upstairs in the shower, I need you guys to stay here with her. She's really upset, so try not to make it any worse." I say.

"What's wrong with her?" Andrew asks. "It's a long story, just.." I start, then try to think of a way to finish the sentence without giving anything away.

"don't point out anything." I say and they nod.

"And keep her distracted." I add. Brandon's hand shoots into the air as he bounces on the balls of his feet. "What, Brandon?" I ask him.

"What movies does she like?" He asks. "The old Black and white horror films, y'know the really cheesy ones." I say. "What's her favorite movie that isn't a black and white horror film?" He asks.

"Edward Scissorhands, but I have, like, four copies here." I say.

"Got it." He nods. "What's her favorite fast food place?" Hayden asks.

"It's a tie between In-N-Out and Whataburger." I say.

"What does she typically order?" He asks me. "Um, the biggest burger they have, cheese and ketchup only." I say. "Gotcha." Hayden says.

"What's her favorite drink?" Benn asks. "Sweet Tea. I swear that child is gonna turn into a jug of sweet tea one day." I say.

"I'll stay here." Andrew says.  "Alright, let's roll." Hayden says.

"Where are you going?" I ask. "To the store, we'll be back in a half hour." He says. "You guys don't have to do that." I say.

"Delilah's apart of the family, dude. Family's gotta stick together." Hayden says and walks out the front door with Brandon and Benn in tow.

"I got her, man. Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to her." Andrew says to me. I hug him. "You have no idea how much I appreciate this." I say.

"I know, dude. Just go do what you gotta do, I got her." He replies.

"Call or text me if you guys need anything. I'll be back later." I say.

"I know." Andrew says and I walk out the front door and get in my car.

If I know Brent, and I know him well, he'll be at one of two places.

The liquor store, or His house.

The second option was the correct choice.
