Delilah's POV

*three months later*

It's been three months since Brent and I seperated, and things are slowly looking better. The gashes in my hands finally healed, now I'm left with a few janky looking scars.
My heart has also healed a bit, but I can't go around Him without wanting to throw something at his fat head. I'm slowly getting better, though.

Lilith is back in town again, she finally finished her training course at the hospital and is able to work now. She's one of the nurses in the children's ward at the Dallas city hospital.
Also, Lilith has stopped seeing her 'side boys' and is focusing on Levi because she really and genuinely loves him -which was and still is a shocker to me-. I have a feeling she and Levi'll get married soon, they're head over heals for each other. I really hope they do.

They'd be perfect together.

Orchestra is going great. The director suggested that I learn a new instrument, as I was getting bored of the violin, and I've gone back to piano. I was a pianist before I was a violinist, so going back to Piano was, and still is quite thrilling to me. I've missed it.
David  omehow managed to move the grand piano from the upstairs 'library' to the living room so I can practice in the comfort of the living room instead of an empty white room.

I haven't heard a word from Brent or the guys since we broke up, and I'm kind of thankful for that. David told me that they're going on tour with Asking Alexandria in the next week, and I'm very excited for them. They've toured with AA for a while now, but this'll be the first tour they've done without Danny as the vocalist. They've brought on a Ukrainian guy named Denis to do the job, and he's doing great so far.
The newest track 'I Won't Give In' is probably one of their best songs. He's pretty great live, too. I'm looking forward to seeing what the band will achieve next.

David was talking about bringing me on for a few days, which I'm not all too sure about. I'll be stuck on a bus with six men and one of them hates my guts, so I'm not too sure if it's a good idea. I might have a talk with David and explain why I'm not too fond of the idea. But, I'll probably end up going to a few of the Texas dates, Caity said she'd take me if I wanted to go, as she's going,

At the moment, David is over at Hayden's house -I think, I'm not too sure-, and Lilith is out with Levi, so I'm home alone. But, I'm not totally alone. David and Lilith got me a dog to keep me company when I'm home alone. He's a little basset hound, and he just turned eight weeks old.
I named him Sebastian, and I call him Bassy for short. I love him so much.

We're currently curled up on the couch watching Skins on Netflix. I've already finished the series about four times, but it's my favorite show and I love it so much that I rewatch it all the time. Sebastian must not mind either, he seems very content with sitting in my lap while I gently scratch between his ears.
"Chris, you are such an idiot." I say to the TV as if the character can actually hear me. Sebastian lifts his head up and looks at me. "It's okay, Bassy." I assure him and he lays his head back down and I continue watching the show.
I hear the front door open and I look up, seeing my best friend and Hayden's girlfriend, Caity walking in. I smile and pause the show. "Hey, Caity!" I say.
"Hey, Lilah! What're you watching?" She asks me, hanging her purse on the coatrack. "Skins." I say.
"I should've known, but I'm not complaining. It's kind of growing on me." She says and walks into the living room and flops onto the couch beside me. Caity and I have grown quite close over the past few months, since the Fight with Brent, really.
Hayden brought her over one night to keep me company, and we hit it off. She stayed with me when David had to go to band meetings and things like that.

"Hey, Sebastian!" She coos and he crawls out of my lap to go and greet her. I smile at them and Caity looks at me. "What season?" She asks me. "One, I just started Chris's episode." I say. "Keep that shit playing, Girl! And quit hogging the blanket." She laughs and I laugh, pulling some of the blanket over to her and starting the show again.

When Caity comes over, we typically watch a movie or a TV show, or we go to the mall and shop. We always have fun, no matter what we do.
"God, Tony is such a babe." Caity muses, her eyes trained on the TV.
"Ain't he? He's so gorgeous." I say. "Didn't he and Maxxie have a bit of a thing?" She asks me.
"Yes, that's in a couple episodes." I nod my head.
"God, you know this show too well, Lilah." She laughs. "I know." I smile.
We continue watching the show, and Caity suddenly picks up the remote and pauses the DVD.
"What's up?" I ask her and she shifts around on the couch to face me. "The Houston show is tomorrow." Caity says and pops her gum.
"I know." I nod. "Are you going?" She asks me and I shift around to face her. Sebastian crawls into her lap and she pets him.
"I don't know, Caity." I say. "Are you worried about Him?" She asks me. "No, Bassy will be fine for a few hours." I assure her.
"I meant Brent." She says. I look down, refusing to meet her eyes. "Yeah." I quietly say.
"I'm going, Lilah. David, Hayden, Brandon, Andrew, Nathan, and Bailey will be there, too. We won't let him get to you." Caity says.
"I know, I'm just afraid." I say. "Listen, I'm gonna be right there with you in the dressing room or on the side of the stage. I'm not gonna let him get to you. Besides, I'm wearing my combat boots with the spikes on the toes; I'll kick him square in the gooch if I have to." She says, making me burst out in hysterical laughter.
"Caity!" I howl. "What?" She laughs. "I have never heard the word 'gooch' in my life." I say. "It's the place between your v-" She starts. I wave my hands in the air and make random noises. "I understand! I understand! Stop talking!" I screech and she laughs."You're a trip, Lilah." Caity says.
"I know." I reply. "But, seriously. You're going with me, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I'm going to every show, and so are you." She says.
"I can't get out of this, can I?" I ask her. She shakes her head, her blonde and purple hair getting into her face a bit. "Absolutely not." She says. "I can get Lilith to watch Sebastian while we're gone." I say.
"YAAAAAAAS." Caity yells and I laugh.  "Alright, so do you have to go shopping, or anything like that? I mean, it's five dates, do you want to get new clothes?" I ask her.
"WE are going shopping. You're getting some new clothes, and we're giving you a makeover." Caity says. I slightly choke. "MAKEOVER?"
"Yes, a makeover. You've had that same look for years, and I know you've been thinking about doing something different." She says. I sigh. She knows me too well. I've been thinking about getting a bit of my hair trimmed off, because I'm getting tired of long hair and all the chores that come with it.
My hair reaches my hips, and I'm highly considering getting it cut to maybe my shoulders or my boobs. And I've been thinking about getting a little color or something, but I haven't put much thought into the color bit.
I've been living 'in the box' for so long, and I'm tired of it. I'm ready to live outside the box a bit.

"Go change, Delilah. We're going out." Caity says. "Say no more." I reply.
