Chapter 12

Long Feng didn't pause anywhere else after leaving the weapons building. He headed straight back to his room and locked the door tightly before taking a deep breath and dropping the sword on the floor in front of him.

The Rusted bronze coloured longsword appeared very ordinary. Anyone with a sane mind would know that there couldn't possibly be anything good about it. It had finished it's lifespan and was basically just a chunk of metal at this point.

But Long Feng didn't believe that. He didn't know what this mysterious feeling was, but he was curious to know what exactly this sword was to cause him to feel such a way.

And why it had a similar symbol to the one he found on his forehead was a mystery he wanted to uncover.

But then, what could he do to uncover anything. The sword was a dead piece of metal. What was he to do?

As he was deeply pondering, the rusted sword suddenly began to hum. It began slow and almost inaudible, but it soon began to resound throughout the room.

Long Feng stared at it in shock and wanted to exclaim excitedly. It would appear that he really picked up a treasure. "Hah! Those stingy elders thought they could keep all the treasures? Well I stole one from right under their noses!" He laughed.

Suddenly, he felt his forehead itch. Long Feng frowned and walked over to the mirror again.

Staring at his reflection, he found the mysterious symbol on his forehead, glowing brightly. His pupils enlarged slightly and he stepped back.

Long Feng was certainly afraid of the unknown, and everything from the Three Dragons to the current situation were filled with unknowns. This left him slightly frightening, more worried and cautious, Especially when it concerned his Dantian and his head.

But then, the sword suddenly floated into the aur. All the rust on the sword shed off slowly. The sword's blade became sharp and a subtle aura flowed out of the sword, making it look like a powerful armament.

Long Feng stared at this in shock and rubbed his eyes to confirm he wasn't daydreaming.

The once rusting longsword had suddenly become an incomparable weapon? Long Feng couldn't even tell if it was yin armament or not anymore at this stage.

The aura slowly retracted into the sword until it was completely gone, but the sword remained incomparably sharp.

For the next few minutes, a strange peace held. Long Feng's breathing was the only sound in the room, and he wiped his sweat, glad that the changes had come to an end.

But then the sword began to glow, and he moved further away from the sword, cautiously. What happened next completely surpassed his wildest imagination.

The sword disappeared and transformed into a flow of dazzling golden light. The light expanded and slowly took a shape; the figure of a person!

Long Feng's heart clenched. "It isn't done yet?" He cried out in his heart.

The light lasted a minute before it completely disappeared, leaving a man standing there. An actual man! The sword actually transformed into a man! This sounded like a myth even to Long Feng who was watching it directly.

The man was dressed in pure white robes, his pitch black hair reached the back of his knees. He looked expressionless, making his appearance seem like an Immortal expelled from the heavens. His handsomeness could make ladies to fight savagely for a chance to receive a smile.

His eyes seemed to contain infinite mysteries. He was not releasing even an ounce of energy from his body; he looked like a normal person who couldn't cultivate, but as he stood there, the space around him seemed to ripple and tiny holes that faded immediately continuously appeared.

Long feng didn't even know how to react at this point. Everything that had happened had completely exceeded anything he had imagined.

What he expected was a hidden half spirit armament of the legends, or even a legendary spirit armament to appear. Instead, he got…. A man? A handsome one though.

The man glanced at Long feng expressionlessly for a split second before looking away, but that simple glance made Long feng feel as if he had been thrown into a tankful of icy water for a day. He shivered and took a few heavy steps back, staring at the man's back cautiously. He had a feeling that the man the man had seen through Long feng completely with that single glance, including his dantian.

Long feng retreated further away from the man, terrified. The man walked towards the window and gazed at the sky, as though searching for something amid those infinite twinkling stars.

"If I wanted to harm you, no one in the entire world can save you. Stay." He suddenly said, his voice flowing like a melody.

Unfortunately, Long Feng wasn't in the mood to appreciate a man's voice. He froze by the door.  He had been trying to leave the room when the man was gazing outside, but he was caught. He took a deep breath before returning to the room.
"Long feng greets senior!" Not knowing what else to do, Long feng clasped his fist and bowed his head in greeting. Although the man looked young, he was probably an old monster. After all, they said the rusted sword had been there for a very long time.

The man sighed.
"In the blink of an eye, so many years has passed. It feels like a day." the man spoke to himself.

Long feng listened silently, paying attention for anything that would hint at the man's actual level. Perhaps the spirit realm? Or the legendary Imperial realm?

An Imperial realm cultivator could only live for around three hundred years. How many years exactly was the man referring to?

"Comparing me to those trash of the Imperial realm, you are really looking down on me." The man spoke again.

Now Long feng was totally dumbfounded and nearly bit his tongue. What the Hell?

Was… This man could read his thoughts? What kind of joke was that? How was that even possible?
The man continued speaking.
"Years ago, before my master left, he asked me to this Continent, to this city and wait for someone. I took the form of a sword and waited all these while in the plain between two mountains under the rain and sun until a hundred years ago, when a man created a clan on the plain between the two mountains where I stayed. He called his clan, the Long clan. He accidentally found me and mistook me for a broken Yin level armament." The man said this like he was reading a book, completely expressionless. Yet the shock to Long Feng was indescribable.

"I let him take me and keep me within his weapon pavilion. I continued my wait for the next hundred years, until fourteen years ago." Reaching here, he paused.
"I shouldn't be telling you this. Take my words as meaningless ravings."

Long feng nodded quietly.
"I am called Wu Kong. In short, call me Master." the man slowly said.

Long feng's eyes instantly brightened. Master? He could call him ancestor if he asked!

If he could have such a strong person as his master, that would be amazing!

He hurriedly knelt on his right knee and bowed his head.
"Long feng pays his respect to master!" He exclaimed excitedly.
The man; Wu Kong nodded.

Long feng stood up.
"Master, are you really a sword?" He asked curiously. This was something that intrigued him.

"I am not. I am something else." Wu Kong replied and didn't explain further, and Long Feng didn't ask. He nodded, although he didn't understand.

"Master, what are the Dragons within me and the symbol on my forehead?" He asked again, glancing at the mirror and noticing that the symbol was gone again.

"You aren't ready to know. When you are stronger, you will understand everything." Wu Kong replied faintly.

"Alright master. Final question. Who is your master and where did he go to?" Long feng asked again.

Wu Kong fell silent for a while before gazing again into the vast sky again.
"He went somewhere he would never return from." he replied.

Long feng understood. He kept quiet and stared at his master's back as he stargazed.
