Right now Manik was sitting in Nandini's cabin and telling her about his brother's relationship.
"By the way, does she have any mental disorder? Now don't try to lie to me because your receptionist already confirmed that she is your patient and she regularly comes here for therapy."
"It's totally illegal to reveal any patient's information."
"Relax doc, I don't have any bad intentions. My brother is going to marry her so I have to take all the information about her right? It's a matter of my brother's life."
"Don't you think you are over protective for your family?"
"It's my responsibility to protect my family."
"Whom are you trying to fool? Taking information and all are bullshit. You are trying to find a reason to break this marriage because you don't want any woman in your house right?"
Manik opened his mouth to say something but he was caught red handed now what can he say?
"That's not the only reason I have."
"I am all ears. Go on..."
"I took information about her family. She left her family and doesn't want to live with them. She won't stay in our joint family and take my brother away from us. Do you know all of my brothers are very different from each other and we still stay together just because we love each other. Do you think a woman can make space between us? I won't let that happen."
"If they want to stay away then who are you to stop them? It's their life let them decide."
"You mean one by one all my brothers will get married and leave the house and I will keep quiet?"
"If they want to leave the house they can do that. You don't have any right to interfere in their matter."
"Then only me and dad will be left alone in that house."
"There is a possibility but it's just a possibility nothing else."
"It's a very strong possibility."
"Did you go to the future before? No right? Then how could you predict the future? Look Manik, nobody knows about their future. But in the fear of the future they shouldn't waste their present and ruin their future. After marriage your brothers will leave the house or not who knows? You brothers are still with you. You can spend time with them and make some good memories."
"What if they didn't meet those girls and fall for them? They would never think about leaving the house. Women are responsible for every ruined relationship."
"Your mother wasn't a good woman for you that doesn't mean you will keep blaming all the women and as I told you it's just a possibility, nothing else."
"You are just avoiding this topic because you are a woman and you can't hear anything against feminine."
"Oh really? Do you think your brothers are innocent and only those girls are responsible for this? You can't clap by one hand. You need your two hands for that. Your brothers are equally responsible for this. They love them and they want to live with them forever. If you tell your brothers to choose between their family and love, maybe they will choose their family but I bet you, they won't be happy without their loved ones. Don't blame all the women for that specific woman who has portrayed a bad image in your mind."
Manik didn't say anything. He just stood up and left the cabin silently.
At Malhotra Mansion
Cabir was passing by Manik's room while munching a chocolate. Suddenly Manik came out of his room, palmed his mouth and took him to his room. Cabir thought he might have made some mistake, that's why he wanted to beat him. So he said,
"Now what did I do?"
"You didn't do anything yet but you have to do something for me."
"Nothing comes for free bro."
"I knew it."
Manik took out a brand new tab from his drawer and forwarded towards him.
"For me? Thanks bro."
Before Cabir could take that tab Manik took it back and said,
"Everything comes with a price."
"What do you want?"
"I want you to break Abhi's marriage."
"But why?"
"What do you mean by why? Do you want a woman to enter into our life and take our brother away from us?"
"Why would she take him away from us?"
"I think you haven't done your homework yet. Go to her Facebook profile and check. There is not a single pic of her with her family. I have inquired about her. She left her family a few years ago and never saw their faces again. Do you think she would be able to adjust in our family? No way."
"You are right. That girl who left her family will never agree to live in our joint family."
"On top of that she has some mental issues, otherwise why would she go to the hospital for therapy?"
"Is it that serious?"
"I don't know. They are not ready to open their mouths. It's against the rules of their hospital to give information about their patients."
"Then how would we get information about her?"
"You will get information about her, not me. Also we have to take Arya and Dhruv on our side."
"Well, taking them on our side is not a problem but I need some time to get information about her."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
"Not before I get my brand new tab in my hands. Come on, give it to me."
Manik gave that tab to him and said,
"You are so evil."
"I will take that as a compliment. Thanks bro."
Then they went to Arya's room and saw he was busy completing his assignment. Cabir knew if he disturb him now he would definitely hit him with his thick books. So he let Manik deal with him.
"Arya, we need to talk."
When it's Manik nobody wants to mess with him. Arya closed his books and said,
"Yeah say."
"What's your opinion about Abhi's marriage?"
"I have nothing to say. It's their life they should decide right?"
"But it's related to our life too. Look, if Abhi get married to that girl then she will take him away from us. Do you want that?"
"What can I say? It's totally depend on Bhai. If he doesn't want to live with us then we can't force him."
"He won't listen to me. Cabir, please take the charge."
Cabir sat on the study table comfortably and said,
"Look brother, if you don't support us then I have a perfect medicine for you. I will lie whole day for a whole year and the result you know already."
Arya made a horrific face and gulped in fear. Then he joined his hands and said,
"I will do whatever you say. I can't bear your one lie just imagine if you lie whole day then I wouldn't be in one piece. Forget about lying for the whole year I will die maximum within three days only. Pardon me, my twin brother."
Arya bowed in front of Cabir and he kept his hand on his head dramatically as if he is blessing him. Then he looked at Manik and said,
"See that's how you should seal the deal."
