Chapter 16 - The Truth About George

Adam

After a decade, Adam Dashwood woke up from his coma. "Where is Dana? Why has Dana not come to see me?!" Adam screamed. The nurse came running into the room. "Calm down Mr. Dashwood. We don't know who Dana is," the nurse replied. "Dana is my girlfriend!" Adam screamed. "We will find her," the nurse assures Adam. "You better find her!" Adam screamed. The nurse called Dana. "Hello, Mrs. Rollin, my name is Rose Johnson. I am working at the hospital. Ms. Rollin, a patient named Adam Dashwood is asking for you," Rose requested.

"I cannot see him until they catch my husband's killer," Dana told Rose. Rose understood. Rose told Adam about Dana being falsely accused of her husband's murder. "I don't believe that Dana killed her husband!" Adam replied angrily. "Dana was found innocent," Rose replied. "Did they find out who killed her husband," Adam asks. "No, they did not. Dana wants to wait until they find her husband's killer to come to see you," Rose explained. "I understand. I can wait," Adam replied.

John

John learns that Barbara Ross had life insurance and all the money would have gone to her husband. Barbara's husband did not get any money since her death was ruled a suicide. John called Grady. "I think Steve Ross killed his wife Barbara, but I just can't prove it. I'm going to talk to Alex," John told Grady. John went to see Alex. "Hello, my name is John Hagerty. I know you were having an affair with Barbara Ross. Did Barbara talk about her husband Steve?" John asks. "No, but I saw Steve kissing his sister-in-law. I told that reporter Rick Storm the same thing," Alex replied.

Hank

Jennifer checked the mail and saw that her husband had received a letter from Rick Storm. Jennifer called her husband. "Hank, you got a letter from Rick Storm," she told him. "Can you fax it to me?" Hank asks. "Yes, I can," Jennifer agrees. Hank got the letter. In the letter Rick sent Hank, Rick tells Hank that Barbara and Pam's father, Larry Brooks had an affair with April Ross and she became pregnant with George. Larry did not pay any child support to April. Barbara found out about George and she wanted to do the right thing. Barbara was going to leave George with all her money.

Hank calls John. "You were right about Steve killing his wife Barbara. George is Barbara and Pam's half-brother from an affair their father had. Barbara was going to leave George all her money. Barbara told Alex about George Rollin being her brother," Hank told John. "I think Pam also helped Steve kill her own sister. Pam and Steve were having an affair. They knew that Barbara was having an affair with Alex. They wanted to frame Alex for Barbara's murder, but the police ruled her death a suicide. Alex told me that he caught Steve kissing Pam and he also told Rick Storm about the affair. Rick knew that Pam and Steve had killed Barbara. Steve killed Rick and he made it look like an accident," John replied.

"They also framed Dana. Steve and Pam couldn't get Barbara's life insurance since her death was ruled a suicide. They also had another problem with Barbara leaving George all her money, so they killed him. They also knew that Dana would have got all of Barbara's money if something happened to George. Steve and Pam have to frame Dana for George's murder. They paid the prosecutor, the witnesses, four of the jurors, and the insurance agent to make sure Dana was found guilty," Hank replied.

Hank gave the letter to the British police. The police arrested Pam and Steve for murdering Barbara and Rick. They were also facing charges of the murder of George Rollin.
