The choir sang before taking their seats. "Welcome! Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. Now, I'd like to say a few words... before we all become too befuddled by our excellent feast. First, I'm pleased to welcome Professor R.J. Lupin... who's kindly consented to fill the post... of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Good luck, professor. Our Care of Magical Creatures teacher... has decided to retire... in order to spend more time with his remaining limbs. Fortunately, I'm delighted to announce... that his place will be taken by none other... than our own Rubeus Hagrid. Finally, on a more disquieting note... at the request of the Ministry of Magic... Hogwarts will, until further notice, play host to the dementors of Azkaban... until such a time as Sirius Black is captured. The dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the grounds. Now whilst I've been assured... that their presence will not disrupt our day-to-day activities... a word of caution. Dementors are vicious creatures. They'll not distinguish... between the one they hunt and the one who gets in their way. Therefore, I must warn each and every one of you... to give them no reason to harm you. It is not in the nature of a dementor to be forgiving, But you know, happiness can be found...even in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the light." Dumbledore explained.

Dahlia looked around the hall, the first years huddled together at their tables, her heart broke for them, this was supposed to be their first year at Hogwarts and it was already tainted by the dementors. She looked at Harry, harry nodded, understanding her plan, the pair begin waving their hands under the table, the enchanted ceiling changed, from the dark rain clouds outside, to the four animals, they became 3-d as they jumped from the ceiling, walking along their respective tables, they jumped together in the middle, forming the Hogwarts crest "The Queen of Hearts and The King of Spades, Welcome you all to Hogwarts" the word appeared, sparkling brightly, before it turned into fireworks.

James, lily and Regulus shared a look, they couldn't have been happier to have their kids the way they are their kids made them so proud, seeing how they turned out.

Dahlia stepped on a table, as the food disappeared, she whistled loudly, Remus noted how the other teachers seemed unbothered by her, in fact he believed they seemed amused, and intrigued. "Now, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Dahlia Black-Potter. No Sirius Black is not my father. In any case, I am announcing, there will be no sleeping in the dorms tonight" she said as she walked along the table, standing in front of the staff table, "after the rather terrifying in counter we all had on the train, it seems only right to rectify that in true Hogwarts fashion. Slumber party!" She cheered as the tables disappeared, sleeping bags appeared everywhere, followed by the now familiar white screen for returning students "you all have 10 minutes to change into your pj's and come back, if your not back, the house elves will be making you, oh and returning students, I made snacks" She said, watching as a near stampede headed out the door.
