Divination and C.O.M.C

A bluebird flies past the Clock Tower, through the Covered Bridge, and out into the Hogwarts grounds. It then flies too close to the Whomping Willow and gets thwacked, feathers flying everywhere as the tree shakes itself. "Welcome, my children. In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight. Hello. I am Professor Trelawney. Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves. So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you. What do you see? The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read. But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond. " Trelawney said as the camera zoomed into her class.

"What a load of rubbish, honestly" Lily said, "she's a real seer mom, her great grandmother was Cassandra Trelawney. No one believes her because of the curse that was put on her family, which makes it impossible for anyone to believe her prophecies" Dahlia explained, she did not like it when anyone talked bad about trelawney, she reminded the girl of Luna, which naturally made her protective of her as well.

"What a load of rubbish." Hermione huffed, appearing at their table, Dahlia's eyes narrowed, "Where did you come from?" Ron asked, surprised, "Me? I've been here all this time." Hermione said dismissively. "You, boy...Is your grandmother quite well?" Trelawney asked, looking at Neville, "I think so." Neville said, "I wouldn't be so sure of that. Give me the cup." Trelawney said. "Pity. Broaden your minds." Trelawney looked into Neville's cup before moving on to Ron, "Your aura is pulsing, dear. Are you in the beyond? I think you are." Trelawney said, "Sure." Ron muttered.

"If you really think about it, Ron could be a Seer" Hermione said thoughtfully, "what do you mean?" Draco asked, "remember all those predictions he made the first week In 4th year? They all came true in some way" Dahlia pointed out, "an undeveloped gift? It's possible" Daphne agreed.

"Look at the cup. Tell me what you see." Trelawney said, "Yeah. Harry and Dahlia's got sort of a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering. And that there could be the sun and that's happiness. So....you're both gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it." Ron said, looking at the twins. "Give me the cup. Oh, my dear children. My dears.....you have the Grim." Trelawney gasped, looking scared, "The Grin? What's the Grin?" Ron asked, confused, the twins shared a look, they might be talking about Sirius's animagus form, "Not the Grin, you idiot. The Grim." Hermione sighed, rolling her eyes. "Taking form of a giant spectral dog. It's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen...of death." One of the students read.

"You don't think that Grim thing's got anything to do with Sirius Black?" Ron asked as they left class, "Oh, honestly, Ron. If you ask me, Divination's a woolly discipline. Now, Ancient Runes, that's a fascinating subject." Hermione said, Dahlia's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Ancient Runes? Exactly how many classes are you taking?" Neville asked, "A fair few." Hermione said dismissively, "Hang on. That's not possible. Ancient Runes is in the same time as Divination.You have to be in two classes at once." Ron said. "Don't be silly. How could anyone be in two classes at once?" Hermione said dismissively, "your right, that is silly, and stupid if you actually could take that many classes, why if you had some way of being in two places at once, I would turn it in, after all, it is extremely dangerous to meddle with time, just to take classes you have no use for" dahlia stared at Hermione, her underlying statement was clear to Hermione, turn in the time Turner and stop taking Divination and Muggle studies,  Hermione nodded, knowing she was not going to win against her best friend.

"How did you figure it out?" Ginny asked, "only so many things that make you be in two places at once, the only option she had access to was the time turner" Dahlia explained

"That's it. Come on, now. Come closer. Less talking, if you don't mind. I got a real treat for you today. A great lesson. So follow me. Form a group over there And open your books to page 20." Hagrid explained, Dahlia cooed at her book before opening it, it was a good thing she told Everyone else how to open theirs as well. "Isn't he beautiful? Say hello to Buckbeak." Hagrid introduced, Dahlia squealed, half of the class swore they saw hearts in her eyes, "calm love, you'll get your chance soon" Blaise whispered with a smile. "Hagrid, exactly what is that?" Ron asked, "That, Ron, is a hippogriff. First thing you wanna know is they're very proud creatures. Very easily offended. You do not want to insult a hippogriff. It may be the last thing you ever do. Now, who'd like to come and say hello?" Hagrid asked, Dahlia moved forward "Well done, Dahlia. Well done. Come on now. Now... you have to let him make the first move. It's only polite. So... step up. Give him a nice bow. Then you wait and see if he bows back. If he does, you can go and touch him. If not... Well, we'll get to that later. Just make your bow. Nice and low." Hagrid instructed, she curtsied, looking up at buckbeak, he bowed in return, she smiled brightly, going over to him "aren't you just a handsome fellow, yes you are" she cooed.

"Adding Hippogriff to the list" Regulus muttered, grabbing the parchment, after the second movie, they began adding a list of all the animals their daughter had pet or seemingly adopted.

"Well done, Dahlia. Well done. I think he may let you ride him now." Hagrid said, "really?" She asked excitedly, she smiled as hagrid helped her onto buckbeak's back "Put you over here, just behind the wing joint. Don't pull out any of his feathers, because he won't thank you for that. She squealed as they took off into the sky, her hand letting go, this felt just like being on her dragon

"Well done, Dahlia, and well done, Buckbeak." Hagrid said once they landed, "How am I doing me first day?" Hagrid asked quietly, "Brilliant, professor." Dahlia smiled
