The port was bustling with activity, with girls and small bird creatures were running around and tending to the many nuances of the place. Many of them were laughing and having fun as they went along, the rest were working or eating food with friends or family.

Through a small lens, Z73 watched this activity, a small pang of anger and rage going through her heart at the sight. "So this is what they did while I was gone..."

She took a deep breath, calming herself down from letting those thoughts take over. Her eyes went over to the tallest building, a smile gracing her lips.

"Looks like that's where you are Bismarck...I think I should pay a visit, never saw you in person after all." She pocketed the lens, hopping down from her small perch and casually walking by some of the security stationed outside.

As one could expect, there were people that came and went to see the Kansen, but the port where they actually worked and lived, basically the entire thing, was off limits to the general public. Z73 walked along the pedestrian pathway, blending fairly well into the crowd due to being so short, all the while watching for any bits she can use to get in.

It took a few minutes of scoping the front out, but she noticed a small crack in the wall dome dozen meters from the checkpoint, and by going across the street and away from the wall, she saw that it was leading up to a small building, one she can easily get atop of. 'Perfect. Now how to divert their eyes...'

Looking around, she couldn't see anything that might help her draw attention, not any loose bits that could flash, nor was there a large enough crowd to amass their eyes. She needed to figure out her own way to get the attention of the guard.

...

"Fuck it. Brute forcing this is the best way." She picked up a rock, tracking where the guard was looking so she could toss it without him seeing her do it.

It was a few tries of keeping close watch, but once his eyes went away, she winded up her arm before tossing the rock at incredible speeds, shattering it not far from his head. As you would expect, he yelled in shock, raising his rifle and immediately zeroing in on any possible locations the projectile could have came from.

As he did this, naturally, people got the hell out of there, as would anyone when they hear a sudden loud crack followed by seeing an armed soldier raising his weapon. In the midst of the small chaotic mess, Z73 got to the crack, leaping up and grabbing onto it before hoisting herself up fully, successfully entering undetected.

"Now to actually make it there..."
—————

The day was long, but at least the work she had wasn't too much to handle. Her pen tapped against the desk before she leaned back in the quietly creaking chair, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Finally..." Bismarck, leader of the German Navy's Kansen, practically melted into her chair and let the warmth of the sun swallow her whole in its radiance. "These days are getting too stressful."

As of late, tensions grew higher and higher, and at the rate they're going, it won't be too much longer before the first shell is shot, or the first bomb is dropped, and the Demons of war will wage between them just like it did all those years ago. With World War 2 so long in the past, they rose and saw this new world made after their sinkings or dismantlings, and they all desired to protect it.

Yet, it seems that idea was slowly withering away as the talk of the Siren technology was brought to the table...

"If I don't fix this soon...dammit, it'll all happen again." Reaching for her glass of water, she swallowed down most of it before setting it back down to read through the paperwork again.
