Evil Itself
—————Adapter had successfully caught Z73, but the momentum took both to the floor, forcing them to roll while locked together. Z73 put her hands on the floor and broke the grip, spinning out of it and standing to her feet as Adapter caught herself and stood up just as quick, the two now locked in a staredown.
The staredown didn't last long at all this time, and the two came at each other with their next assault rearing to go. Adapter had one hand forward to throw off anything that comes to her, while Z73 was raising her leg up into the air.
Once close enough, Adapter went for a punch with her cocked hand, yet once it left her center mass, Z73's leg flew up, kicking her wrist and throwing her hand completely off course. With the moment of Adapter being stunned by the sudden counter, her leg came down and hit Adapter's head, hitting her hard enough to daze the Siren and almost send her to the floor.
Though, that would probably have been better than what was to come.
Z73 immediately sent an uppercut to her face, hitting hard enough to snapped Adapter's head back and even pull her from the floor for a second. She fell back down harshly, shaking her head as Z73 raised her leg for another kick.
Adapter pulled her leg in and kicked at Z73's only standing leg, nearly snapping it back as she yelped and tumbled to the ground. Adapter got off the floor and attempted to capitalize, missing as her punch to Z73's head missed due to her evading it and rising with a kick to back her off.
Now with both back to their feet, they took a moment to breathe, going over what they found from their enemy thus far. Z73 could tell one thing beyond anything else though, and it made her smile.
"You haven't fully recovered yet have you?"
Adapter didn't answer with words, only tightening her fists in response. "So I was right...you jumped at the chance for this little fight the others are stuck in, but you didn't prepare properly."
"Shut it! If you can talk, you can fight!" She rushed Z73 again, a punch aimed at her face being her opener once again.
Z73 stepped to the side and grabbed her arm, pushing her further to unbalance her before kicking her leg out and sending her sprawling. Adapter stilled her roll as quick as she could, but as she looked up, she was met with a flying kick from Z73, forcing her back to the floor again with a nasty hit.
Standing from the dropkick, Z73 wiggled her legs to loosen them up, using a much more loose style does cause issues of you're not careful after all. Slowly, Adapter stood to her feet, rubbing her cheek that received the full impact of her kick, which was already bleeding.
Z73 put her hands up again, ready to continue the fight and hopefully end Adapter this time around. The Siren chuckled as she fully stood, her eye scanning their environment as she seemingly was looking for something.
Z73 went to use this as she ran forward, aiming for a quick jab that...completely missed, as Adapter jumped right over her and towards the wall. She latched onto a Plaque, one that held a large sword on it, and pulled it right off.
"Oh shit..." Z73 backed away as she fell to the floor with the new weapon, Adapter smiling as she looked out the window, seemingly towards someone else.
"Perfect..." She faced Z73 again, her stance shifting as she perfectly mimicked Warspite's stance with the blade.
Z73 quickly looked around herself, spotting a weapon she could use too, one that would help in this situation. Her rigging is too large to properly dodge around with, and the reloading plus tight corridors wouldn't make it effective, thus, she needed something else.
