Ceiling of Knives
—————A mile out from the shores of Britain, The Devil of the Atlantic and an unknown visitor in the form of a Hero were locked in combat.
Z73's hands were stressing fiercely, her grasp on the bow tight and strong, but not enough to overpower her foe. Enterprise, yellow eyes glowing brightly, was also strained in their lock, trying to free her bow to shoot her dead.
Z73's Crimson eyes bored deep into Enterprise's Gold, both glowing bright enough to cast slight reflections onto the weapon held between them. Eventually, Z73 took an advantage, reaching forth and stepping on Enterprise's foot.
She flinched from the sudden pain, letting Z73 yank the bow down and bring herself up at the same time, sending a knee to her head. Though, what came to a shock for her was that she barely seemed to feel it, her head kicking back, and a groan of pain coming from her, but nothing much beyond that.
Landing back on the water, Enterprise already recovered, and was pulling the string back on the bow to fire it. Z73 ducked down, a hand on the water as she dashed to the side to avoid the arrow.
Thunk!
"Ahh!" A sharp pain hit her side, and she slid to a stop while barely keeping her balance.
Z73 looked down to her side, where one of those Energy Arrows was pierced into her side. Looking up to Enterprise, she saw her grip on the bow was focused almost solely on her rotated wrist, the bow having followed her movements even when the woman didn't.
'What kind of skill is that?!' She growled, snapping the arrow as her eyes glowed an even deeper red, starting to get angry.
Enterprise nocked another arrow and loosed it, Z73 ducking under it and dashing straight towards her once more. While Enterprise had the advantage at Range, she had the advantage up close and personal.
Her Rigging manifested to her side, where she grabbed the handle and aimed her shark forward, who chomped on a shot arrow and fired back with a volley of it's own. That's when Enterprise bent her knees, Z73's stomach starting to get faint at the sight. 'Is she...?'
Then, when the shot was almost on her, she jumped. She completely evaded the blast, grabbing the string and creating three arrows, firing all right at her mid flight.
She yanked on her rigging , pulling it in front and taking all three, one of which pierced right through and nailed the girl it belonged too. Z73 bit back a sound, feeling the arrow pierce into her arm.
It dissipated as they usually did, and thankfully, there was no injuries that could hinder her movements. "You move much more Humanly than they usually do..."
"Whatever it takes to win." She already had another arrow nocked, keeping her bow trained on Z73.
The two stared at each other, eyes tracking the others moves and what they knew of the other in effort to stay on top. Z73 mulled over what she knew so far, and it came to a resounding conclusion.
'She's...better than me.'
The Siren in Enterprise took hits from her easily, and she not only moved much like her, but she even hit her as hard as she would hit someone else. Add onto the fact that she has the range advantage...
'It's a miracle that she didn't use planes yet, or I'd be really screwed.'
One of her hands slowly reached to her waist, grabbing a torpedo and pulling it free. Enterprise narrowed her eyes and held the bow tighter, readying herself to shoot as soon as she moved.
