—————A groan came from the Siren ahead, as Omitter slowly began to stand up after getting decked in the jaw as roughly as she did. She shook her head and looked to Z73, seeing a lookalike standing right beside her, one that was missing an eye.
"Ah...well look who showed up to the party. Looks like you did manage your special trick, just had to force it out of you."
"Can it Omitter...this isn't time to chat." The woman, Adapter herself, put her hands up and got ready to fight.
"Hmph, my greatest creation turns on me? Shouldn't have given you sentience, maybe that would have solved this issue." Omitter rubbed her bruised cheek once more before smiling. "Ah well, just means I have to put you both down! Adapter, you were far more useless than I thought you'd be, but no matter, for our mission will be complete soon enough."
Adapter clicked her tongue and looked to Z73. "You can still fight yeah?"
"Yeah...I'm ready again."
"Good...and I'll explain everything after, for now, all you need to know is that I'm on your side, and this time, it's my choice."
Z73 looked at Adapter's one glowing red eye, before a smile came to her face as she mimicked Adapter's own stance and stood right beside her. "Got it...you can tell me all about whatever it is later."
Z73 looked to Omitter as her eyes glowed yellow, and her gauntlets quickly grew out their spikes as she went fully into her form. "We got a Siren to kill."
"Hehe, that's the spirit!" Omitter cracked her knuckles as the suit puffed steam in different directions. "Now I'll kill you both and have fun while I do it!"
Both sides jumped forward at once, Omitter's exo-suit glowing and powering up as her body was slowly covered in a bright blue light. On the other side, Z73 and Adapter, who have basically swapped colors at this point, were at their full strength and ready to take her on face to face.
It was a fight Adapter somewhat dreaded, for she was essentially killing her mother here...but she never showed such care, not like the times where she could laugh and be herself around Z73. She spied a glance to her ally, seeing the smirk of pure confidence on her face as she jumped into the fight...
She could do the same, she was made too.
Adapter pulled ahead of 73, faster than both parties thought she would, and slammed shoulder first into Omitter. The impact halted Omitter's movement and even made her kick her legs up, something capitalized on by Z73.
The Destroyer grabbed her legs and yanked her up, tossing her into the air as Adapter spun back around and hopped up, jumping to Z73's shoulders and up to Omitter to punch her right back into the floor.
Omitter felt the breath leave her from the impact, and yet she still wasn't given a second to rest as Adapter crashed right onto her with an elbow to the stomach, forcing what little she had left right out. Using the surge of energy she got from the suit, she grabbed Adapter and threw her off, using the jet boots to quickly get away from the two and reposition.
"Damn! You two are real coordinated!"
"Well why wouldn't we be?" Z73 crossed her arms as Adapter spun to correct herself and landed properly beside her. "We saved the world together, we know how to play off each other.
Omitter clicked her tongue, activating the weapons systems of the suit as two rocket pods opened on her shoulders. They fired a dozen rockets straight for the two of them, spiraling in every direction around without proper guidance systems.
