"Alright..." Now in a room, surrounded by dark walls and a lamp above a lone table, Adapter was sat across from Z73, both staring each other down...while Adapter's object of question was sitting rather awkwardly in Z73's lap.
"Explain."
Z73 sighed and leaned back, Marco doing the same and resting against her mom, being extremely clingy and staring at Adapter the whole time. "Where do I even begin...well, I guess after the events of that day's morning."
Adapter leaned forward, eager to hear what this was about. Meanwhile, watching through a one way mirror, was several other Kansen including Rossiya and Bismarck, the Russian glaring absolute daggers at the Siren sitting calmly across from the woman she already didn't like.
"If I had my way I'd have killed that Siren already..."
"And if you had your way, you'd be a floating corpse in the North Sea. That girl is nothing to scoff at, and I've only seen her back down when outnumbered...from what I've heard, she's never done that again."
Rossiya looked to Bismarck, frustrated and clearly pissed. "Why is all this happening when you girls show up?! I was running everything tight knit, then you bring that bastard here, and all of a sudden, I have property damages across the base!"
Bismarck sighed and looked back to the three in the room, clearly with Adapter listening closely to what had happened. "If you really want to lose your life, go ahead and try to kill her. At this point, she and Z73 are leagues of their own, and have taken down dozens of Kansen during that day."
"We've faired against stronger opponents than you have, we can win."
"Stronger opponents that are still almost exclusively Siren production models. I won't put you down for that, they are tough no doubt...but fighting an entire nations worth of Kansen several times within a single day, that's strength none possess, all except those two."
Rossiya went quiet as she fell to thought, remembering the first hand reports as well as the few recordings that existed of that day before scoffing and calming down. Almost all of Russia and most of Eastern Europe was unscathed during that day, but even she won't say anything about the Hell that befell the rest of Europe.
Back in the room though, Adapter finally heard the full tale from Z73, now leaning back in her chair and sighing from now mental exhaustion. "That's just completely stupid of them..."
"I know right?! I don't think I'm capable even now!"
"No!" They both stopped as Marco spoke up, facing Z73 with a mean look. "Momma is the best! I don't want any other Momma!"
"I-I know that Marco, but I don't think I can give you the childhood you deser—"
"I don't care!" *She hugged Z73, cuddling close even when the Destroyer flinched. "Momma is the best, I don't care what she does wrong, Momma is always getting better!"
The two were stuck staring at her after her declaration, Adapter being somewhat impressed for her pushing Z73 back into a corner like that. Though, as for the woman she was speaking too, she was simply staring down at her blue hair, looking at the girl's who's head was buried into her chest.
This kid, despite everything she thought she did wrong, still cared for her as a mother and didn't even care for the mistakes she made and still makes. She's smart enough to see right though the issues she covers up, and still...she loves her.
...
"Oi."
"H-Huh?" Z73 looked up to Adapter, who was holding out a tissue with a slight smirk on her face.
