I Will Give You My All
—————She was at an impasse.
One Kansen, a lone fighter, against well over sixty...no, a little above seventy Kansen. Not to mention many with powerful armaments, tough armor, and freakish abilities that could turn battles in their favor in an instant.
Frankly, this is a fight Z73 should have no chance at winning in, and she knew that. Her usual tactic of hiding in the shadows can't work when shadows don't exist, and here in the open, she may as well keel over and die for them.
...
But that kind of fate is impossible to accept. Everyone here, if they're even somewhat conscious under this control, would be begging for their freedom, something that only she and Adapter have the chance to do.
And so, a risk must be taken.
Z73's eyes closed, the bright red vapor trails slowly turning yellow before she opened them once again, a pure golden shine in her eyes now replacing the orange tint. "Marco! Sit back and watch as I get to work."
Marco struggled in Adapter's grasp, but had no power left over to break free, so she spat out her anger elsewhere. "I will enjoy watching you die to your own kin Z73! This is the kindest fate you deserve for what you risk for my future!"
"Oh? So little faith in me?"
"As if! You can't win against this number, no one Kansen can!"
"...Well, seems you forgot something Marco."
She looked up to the Battleship, flashing her a smirk. "Aren't I a Demon~?"
Marco's teeth grit tightly as she blew up in rage, hating the taunts that she was being thrown. "KILL HER!!"
Systematically, all the Kansen fired their guns at her, a wall of lead and fire that threatened to swallow her whole no matter what she did. Even faced with this, her smirk never left her face, her eyes glowing brighter as she opened her mouth.
"FRACTURE!!"
...
Just like that, her single word...shattered the world.
Her infamous ability, one that none could discern, where she seemingly disappears, and the world almost seems...skipped.
She blinked her eyes and looked at the wall of lead, before looking at her surroundings.Nothing...
It was empty space, a blank canvas of stars and void. This is Time itself, a land of Time without it's brother Space.
In this world, only she has command over herself, and she uses it to devastating effect.
"This place never grows old to look at." She went back to the incredibly slow moving wall of cannon fire, walking calmly towards it and soon within arms reach of the shells.
They had a small projection ahead of them, Time itself telling her where they will be, but this wasn't needed right now. She reached out to the shells, brushing them aside as she simply walked through the opening she created in the wall.
She continued on past the Kansen, looking over their items and gently moving or adjusting some things. It really wouldn't change anything, but it was something to do until she arrived to the back of the group, where she felt her control slipping.
She popped behind Peter Strasser, arm held behind her as her smile faded away, a cold expression replacing it. "I'm sorry girls...but this is too against me, so I'm going to go all in."
The effects of Fracture soon wore off, and the shells continued on full speed, slamming into the ocean with no hits on the Destroyer who was once there. Marco's confusion was audible from where she was, and if they were capable of showing it, it would also be on the others' faces.
