2-week skip
I can't believe how much planning goes into a wedding. You have to think about what goes in the invites, the menu, the reception, and the guests. The wedding is going to have a sweetheart theme, and if I knew that it required so much planning, I would have done a simple church wedding.
We left London 2 days ago, and I have been running around Chicago, trying to get everything set.
Right now, it's 8 am, and I'm at Leandro's house, and I'm getting ready to go find my wedding dress with Alphonsine. I know that I probably should have gone to find it before, but planning a wedding in three weeks does not give you that time.
I slip on some white trousers and a baby blue long-sleeve top. I add in my earrings, and I layer on my necklace. I fluff up my hair and grab my purse. After the wedding dress shopping, I have to go and choose the cake, and pick up Kiandre from the Airport.
I'm super grateful that Alphonsine is helping me through this process. I couldn't have done it without my wedding planner and her. Kiandre helped as much as she could from London, and She's coming today, and she said that she has a surprise for me.
I slide on my white-heeled booties and leave the room. Walking down the stairs, texting my bodyguard my schedule for the day. He has to be with me at all times, and I'd rather he knows where we're going than drag him around.
Walking to the kitchen, my phone rings, and I answer the call, not looking at the ID.
"Hello?"
"Hey, my flight landed a little earlier, so I might as well go choose the dresses with you guys"
"Yeah sure, we'll come to pick you up right now. I'll go pick up Al first."
"Don't, I'm going to stay at her place for the time being. Pick me up first, okay?"
"Got it. See you." I hang up the phone and head for the fridge. I don't feel like eating much, since I'm going to be trying on dresses, and I'm going to eat cake anyway. I grab an energy shake, a chocolate flavor. I make my way out of the kitchen, and as I'm about to make my way out of the front door, I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
