"Of course not!" Isabel shook her head indignantly, "it was just the responsible thing to do, we sat there and waited for an adult to find us."

"Don't you think that's enough?" Farlan interjected for the nth time.

"Oh come on," I beamed at him, "don't ruin our fun."
"It's getting late," he completely ignored me, pleading with Isabel, "shouldn't we get dinner?"

"I'll consider it," Farlan shook my hand.

"No," he shook his head, walking out of the room with Isabel, "meet us in the dining hall."

"Wait up," I ran after the two of them, "I don't want you to talk about me behind my back."

"Why would we ever do that?" Isabel frowned, linking her arm with mine, "you're a friend now."
