With that I began to walk off, checking the place out - I ran back to the front desk computer and looked through all the cameras, I ended up finding a man screaming for help and shouting he found a way out - and what hallway he was down.
"I hope he can survive until I get there." I shook my head at the thought, glancing to my right at the closed hallway, I walked over and pulled the lever down - which motioned the metal door to slide open just slightly. I was a bit afraid with how much blood was over the floor - I knew I had to push forward and sucked up my own thoughts.
Pulling my flashlight out I flicked the switch and got down on my chest, laying flat against the floor as I did my best to maneuver under the door.

| EAST HALL |

Once I had made it to the other side I stood up, wiping off whatever I could from my shirt with my bare hands. 'Ugh..' I held my flashlight in my right hand and held my gun with my left, since I was left handed this was always my go-to combo when in a situation where I needed my flashlight.
I walked down a few steps that were to my left and began to walk down, pointing my gun my finger was on the trigger - ready if anything jumped out at me. 'Fuck..' I whispered to myself as I looked around, tons of bullet holes in certain walls - and the floor was covered in blood. it smelt awful. I tried my best not to smell out of my nose and use my mouth to breathe - but it was hard. I reached a fallen locker and a double door next to it, I went for the double doors first and found some ammunition "Thank god." I chuckled, walking back out I turned my attention to the fallen locker and shoved it up and back into its rightful place. It was pretty heavy but I managed to lift it.
I continued walking along the path, once I turned the corner to the right I almost threw up at the sight of so many bodies. all of what I had seen before was nothing compared to this. my eyes watered at the stench and my noise felt like it was on fire. I held my arm up to my nose to cover it, and blinked to hopefully stop the water from flowing.
I heard the officer that I found on the camera begin to scream for help "OPEN UP! HURRY! OPEN UP!" I began to race through the door and over to where he was, he seemed to be on the other side "OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR!'"He screamed once more when I walked closer, "Don't worry I'll help!" I called in response, doing my best to lift the door.
Once it had been lifted a bit he stuck his hand out which held a booklet, " HELP ME! PLEASE! HELP ME!" I reached for his hand and tried to push the door upwards more, he turned on his back so I could pull him out. but by the time I had grabbed both of his hands a zombie on the other side began to eat him from the waist down. I still continued to pull him to my side - his guts splashed all over the floor as I did, my mouth gaped as I stood up. my brain and eyes trying to register what was happening. I could still hear the zombie eating on the other side. and the door had closed back by itself. 'Oh god i'm so sorry..' I spoke with sadness, one of my hands covered my mouth. I shook my head and reached down to grab the small book he had clenched in his hands.
Once I had begun to read it I realized it was what he had been saying over the cameras - an escape route. I knew I had to race back to Leon, 'Hopefully hes recovered by now.' I put the book in my back pocket and began walking towards the door I came into the room from when I heard someone banging on the door - I quickly held my gun out, trigger ready as the zombie busted through the door.
I pulled the trigger and shot straight through his head - one shot wasn't enough to kill them from a handgun, I needed a better weapon.
I shot three more times before the body dropped to the floor, I gathered myself and placed my flashlight back in my right hand.

| HEADING BACK |

pushing the door open I saw a zombie by the window - breaking it down it began to climb in "SHIT! I don't have enough bullets!" I ran back down the hallway that led me to the police officer, running past the locker I had to push back up - two more zombies broke through a closet door, "GODDAMNIT!" I screamed out trying to duck and dodge the two. I ran back down the hall to try and squeeze myself back underneath it. but I was stuck, another zombie had come up behind me and was pulling my leg back underneath. I was hollering for Leon when a man in a Police Uniform came up to me and slammed the shutter door down onto the zombies head.
