𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐖𝐎

| RACCOON CITY |

Driving down the long road I sighed, taking a short glance at the male sitting in my passenger seat. "So.. what's your name?" I had asked the strange male, to which I got a response. "Leon.. Leon Kennedy.. you?" Asking for my name, "Valentina.. Wang."  I spoke, keeping my eyes on the road - although I could feel his burning into the side of my face.
"What the hell happened?" I said out loud, looking out from my car I began to notice the tragedies that were surrounding us. 'I bet it was fucking Umbrella.. they finally did it.' I said to myself, another sigh slipping through my throat.
"I have no idea.. I just arrived, I was told not to show up maybe a week ago." Leon spoke, I could hear the concern in his voice, mixed with a little sadness. and I don't blame him, what was happening was sad. even if we didn't know the half of it yet.

| THE CRASH |

We grew closer to the Police Station, I had to drive slow since there were so many cars out on the street, not to mention the people who they belonged to wandering about. I knew we eventually would have to get out of the car and head to the station on foot, but getting as close as we could without sprinting was the best idea. Those things were fast, one bite - hell even one scratch.. and you were infected. basically playing a game of dodge the fucking ball.
Coming to a stop I put my car in park and turned to Leon, "This is where we get out, and fucking book it." I told him, he nodded in agreement. but as we were about to get out we saw bright headlights, turning towards the lights we noticed a big truck heading straight for us. My eyes widened and I rushed to open my door, but I couldn't - something was stopping it. I turned my attention back to the driver side door and saw the zombies pushing up against it - and the same for Leon's side. "What the fuck do we do?!" He called out, asking me. I only shook my head, I hadn't a clue on what to do in a heated moment like this. I was trying to think but by the time I could even realize it the truck had already hit us, flipping the car.
Groaning in pain I crawled out from the broken window, I only managed to have a few cuts - and most of them were from the glass of the broken window I had just crawled out from. Once I was out of the car and actually standing I realized what was about to happen and quickly searched for Leon "LEON?!" I called out.. no answer.
'Fuck fuck fuck FUCK..' I said to myself, I began to pace around but also keep my distance from the car. turning back to look at it I noticed Leon crawling out on the same side as me. 'Maybe he had gotten stuck and needed help.. but couldn't speak?' I questioned myself, not knowing but I wouldn't ask. I ran over to him and rushed the two of us away before the explosion occurred, throwing us airborn and throwing us into the side of a car.

| THE WALK |

A loud grunt escaped me as my back slammed into the side of the car. Instead of trying to check on myself I looked to the side of me to see if Leon was alright, "Are you okay?.." I questioned him, my voice was weak. but he heard me. thank god. "Yes I'm alright.. but we better hurry and get to the station." I nodded in response and stood up, helping him to his feet before we began walking. I once again pulled my handgun from my side and held it in my hands as I walked. Since I had grown up in Raccoon City I knew what right paths to take, so I led Leon and myself to the station. We walked down a hallway where we encountered a female zombie, but instead of shooting we just ran past her. Both of our ammunition combined wouldn't have been enough to take her down.

| THE POLICE STATION |

pacing up the steps I took a look to my right and saw the station, 'Finally!' I spoke to myself, my pace grew faster, but I had to slow down for Leon once I realized he wasn't able to go as fast as me. I wrapped his arm around my shoulder and held the other side of his body as I helped him walk, "I got you." I whispered as we walked up to the front gate, I pushed it open while holding him, and quickly shut it once we were inside.
I helped Leon inside and let him rest on a bench near the big statue, "You stay here and rest up, I'll see what I can find around this place." I spoke to him as I checked my gun, and reached for my knife - putting it in a more accessible place in case of a big emergency. "Don't go running off and leave me here." He laughed, trying to make light of the situation. A giggle slipped my lips and I shook my head, "Wouldn't dream of it - partner."
Once I realized what I had said my eyes grew, I hadn't had a partner since my best friend.
she was also in S.T.A.R.S, but one of our missions were just too hard for her.. and she didn't make it.
"Anyways, just stay here.. I'll be back in no time."

Thank you so much for the love on the first chapter, I just posted it yesterday (I just finished writing this the day after I posted it!) and it's gotten some love, some of you can't wait for more chapters and to see more of Valentina, and I promise you I have a lot in store! I don't want to share all my ideas since I want to surprise you guys with future books BUT she will become an amazing character and a hero in this book, which will continue her story in the next book! so once again, thank you guys for supporting this book <333
