Leon glanced around the white room, just as confused and curious as I. "There's no telling..hopefully the place isn't too big, we need to get our hands on the virus."
Once again, the virus. I wasn't too sure about the plan of us doing Ada's bidding, but if it brought the creators of the virus to justice..then it seemed like a good deal. "Let's just take a look around." I spoke, not standing to close to Leon. I wouldn't get close to him, I didn't want to be.
We noticed a computer behind the counter, I walked over to it and began reading what was up on the screen already.

"Huh..I wonder what happened to Wayne." I spoke aloud, but I was sure we were going to find out. Across the hall was a room we decided to peak into, on the door it said 'Security Room'
Upon walking in, there was a bed against the wall, a desk to the left and a computer, of course there were a ton of things around the room that looked like they belonged in a hospital, there was a map of NEST laying on the desk, I decided to pick it up in case we would need it.
I walked back out, with Leon behind me and began walking to where we first came in, there was a door to the left that I opened and walked through, this time there was no writing on the door.
Immediately walking in, the place was pitch black. Leon and I grabbed our flashlights and held them correctly while aiming our pistols - just in case something jumped out at us.
The walls were white, while the floor seemed to be a light gray with a light orange stripe all the way down in the middle. We continued walking down the hall - there was a long window, we looked through and then at eachother, "This looks like the Cafeteria." I stated and readied my pistol while I walked over to the sliding door. There was a shit ton of blood all over the floor and the wall, I prepared myself while walking in.

Immediately walking in, a zombie lunged itself at me and Leon shot it in the head while I tried to push it off me. I pushed its body off me and shoved it on the floor. "V..how about you let me go first?.." Leon spoke to me, in that soft tone he had always used. But I refused. "I'm fine, I will be fine. Thank you." With a grunt I pushed through, there was a sleeping zombie that I shot in the head with my shotgun, there was a zombie eating another zombie that I headshotted.
We found a few bullets laying around on some of the tables, though the place looked like a mini maze from how the tables and chairs were fucked up. I noticed a ladder and nudged Leon while walking over to it. I climbed up it, with Leon waiting behind me.
That's when I heard zombie groaning, I quickly looked around in the vent I was in, but there was no zombie, I looked down and saw the zombie behind Leon while he was climbing. "Fuck, Leon behind you!" I reached for my pistol that I had just put in its holster, but I couldn't get a clear shot. It started tugging on Leon's ankle, "Get off me!" He grunted, trying to pull himself up. I put my gun away and began trying to pull him up.
It took a few seconds but once he got up I accidentally fell back and landed on my ass. "Ouch, fuck." I stood up and brushed myself off. "You okay?" Leon and I spoke at the same time, I giggled and he let out a chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm fine..", once again speaking at the same time. I shook my head and he palmed his face.
We continued on, walking down the black path. The only light was from our flashlights and a light that was placed on the floor at the corner of where the path turned. On the wall it looked like a ventilation system.
Once we reached the end of the tunnel, there was a vent that opened, we had to jump down into the kitchen. Leon decided he wanted to go first, and I went after him.
We quickly searched the kitchen, finding some gunpowder and a knife for one of us to use in a desperate time of need.
"We good?" "Think so."
Leon started walking out of the sliding kitchen door when a zombie that looked like it was in a military uniform attacked him. I grabbed the knife we just picked up and stabbed the sucker in the head, Leon then pushed the zombie off of him and let it drop to the floor. "Nice teamwork." He held his hand up for a high-five.

I thought about it for a few seconds, reaching up I returned the high-five and we continued on.
We walked down to another sliding door that said 'Nap Room' "Well, I guess we might find out what happened to Wayne." I reminded us both, and he nodded at me. We walked through with our pistols aimed - there was no light besides the flashing of a blue wristband coming from someone's arm that was sticking out under the shudders that were closed on the side of the wall. "Do you think that's?.." Leon began to speak, "It's highly possible.." I interrupted, Leon grabbed the wristband from him and added it to the one we already had. "Alright, time to see what else we can use with this."
While he was busy with the band, I was searching the rest of the room, I ended up finding a part for his flamethrower and my spark shot. I also noticed a weird mechanism on the wall, it looked like it needed some sort of electrical connection to surge through it. "Here Leon, for your flamethrower." I handed him the part and he happily grabbed it with a smile. "Thanks V. Where would I be without you?" "Dead."

Hello loves! Unfortunately I have run out of memes to use for this book, so I've decided to create a little header to use at the end of each chapter (and maybe the start?) but I hope you guys like it and this chapter! I'm doing my best to write, but I am very sore from yesterday since I was out almost all day. But I'm trying to write this chapters as best as I can, thank you all for the patience! We are so close to the end, I can't believe it! After a year or two, this book will finally be finished..anyways, thank you guys for the support! I love you all, always 🖤‼️
