𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐖𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐘-𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄

| PRESENTATION ROOM |

Once the creature lunged at Leon I immediately started shooting at its head with my pistol, Leon on the other hand had a firm grip on the weird green creature that seem to have vines coming from its skin - "Get off me!", he shouted while trying to push the creature away — I continued trying my best to aim only for the head.
It took about a whole clip just to put the creature down, even then it was still squirming and moving around on the floor. Leon was out of breath and was doing his best to regain it while I stomped the creatures head into the floor, I looked over at him "Are you okay? Did it hurt you?", I walked closer to Leon while pushing my handgun into its holster. "Been better." He chuckled, even in moments such as these we still found a way to make light hearted jokes. "I think anyone that's not in our position right now is better.", I replied while still trying to lighten the mood.
Leon and I continued further down the room we were in, it was completely crowded with the vines and leaves of all sorts but in the middle of the room it looked like there was a container for some kind of plants to grow. We continued walking through the room and down into the little hallway connected to the room, that's when we saw another one of those green creatures laying on the floor. Once we got close enough the creature raised almost as if it was coming back from the dead and made the weird groaning noises, it lunged at the both of us, Leon and I quickly took care of the creature and pushed on past it.

| GREENHOUSE CONTROL ROOM |

Immediately upon walking in, I noticed a small island in the middle of the room and to the wall in front of us - instead of it being a wall, it was a big window that let us see through to the next room. That was where we had seen the dude who held the wristband upgrade that we needed. The room looked extremely crowded with the vines and leaves everywhere. Leon and I stepped further into the room, hearing the door shut behind us. To our right was a big blue screen that showed us the room that we were in now, the greenhouse, a drug testing lab with a red lock on it, and a ladder with a red lock on it, right in front of the blue screen looked as though there was some kind of machine, with some weird kind of keys. "Hey, maybe we can unlock those two things with some kind of code and punch it in here.", I pointed to the device I was standing in front of, Leon nodded to me. "We should both be on the look out for those codes just in case."
To my surprise Leon picked up a piece of paper that was sitting on the island, it seemed to have the codes that we needed to unlock the few rooms. He immediately handed it to me and I began to punch in the codes. While I was doing this Leon was investigating the rest of the room. He sprayed some kind of solution into the greenhouse and the machine gave him an empty bottle. I unlocked both the ladder and the drug testing lab. "Let's try the lab first.", I suggested and Leon nodded. We headed out into the green room while at each others hip.
We took a few steps down and headed to our left to take a few more steps. We walked along the floor and headed into the drug testing lab, but once we creaked open the door - we heard the groaning and moaning of those weird ivy creatures we had came across from earlier.

"Shit." I mumbled, Leon rushed us inside. "Look, this container means something, we have to figure out what we can use this for."
I glanced at the container that the male held out in his dirty hand for me to see, I took a good look at it - that's when my eyes flickered over to the machine. I walked over and noticed a few pieces of paper sitting on the big island in the middle of the room.
" Plant 43 Herbicide Synthesis
1.) Place an empty cartilage into the Solution Dispenser
2.) Add the required amount of UMB No. 21 (P-e)
3.) Cool immediately

Plant 43 exhibits astounding growth. If something unfortunate were to occur, it may be hard to control. In the event of an unforeseen incident, manufacture the herbicide using the instructions above in order to minimize damage."

"Huh..seems like this is the 'cartridge'.." I hurried Leon over and took it from him, I placed it into the solution dispenser. I did, Red Green Blue Red Green Blue Red Green. The solution filled the cartridge to the right amount and allowed me to grab it again. The solution was green, it looked very slimy. But this was our solution to the wristband. "Good job V! You should be a detective.", I hoped Leon was just joking with me - but knowing him, he probably wasn't. "Yeah..maybe. Though after this night I think I want nothing to do with working for the government anymore." I nodded at him while slipping the cartridge into my back pocket to keep it safe. "Agreed."
We both walked back out into the greenhouse and made our way over to the ladder. A few icy creatures appeared but we quickly made waste of them, and headed down the ladder.

| LOUNGE |

The room that we were now in looked pretty weird, there was a huge big pipe and it was almost pitch black - if it wasn't for our flashlights, we wouldn't have been able to see through the darkness. We walked down the darkness and to the white door, once we walked through, all of the lights were off - only a few white lights that were coming from the bottom of the wall allowed us to see - they looked like emergency lights. We walked a bit further and could see that the room we were in looked like it was the lounge room. There was blood everywhere, tables overturned, bodies everywhere, it looked a mess. We walked to our right and ran down the small hallway when a licker bursted into the room through the upper vents. It slashed at the both of us, and caught us both.

Hello loves! I'm sure this chapter is probably short, but I did owe you guys another chapter and promised I'd have one out soon! I'm sorry for not posting sooner - I've been very busy this week. And today was the anniversary of someone who had passed away in my family a year ago now, so it's been rough for me. Ontop of that, the whole election thing has ruined me. I truly believed Kamala would win, but this election seems very fishy. Anyways you guys, thanks for reading and thanks for the support. With each chapter we get closer and closer to the end and closer to the next book with Valentina!
