Leon and I took a quick look around the store to make sure we hadn't missed anything. I felt bad taking from the man, but if we were going to put a stop this we would need all the help we could get. Or atleast..that's what I told myself to justify my actions.
Leon and I walked back over to Ada, she opened the door and all three of us walked through. "Heard of the Umbrella Corporation?" Ada asked, I most definitely have. "Yes, I have." I spoke up, "They're a pharmaceutical company secretly making bioweapons." She spoke, clearly I didn't know them like I thought I did - but there was always a hunch that their operation was shady.
"They have a virus—it turns people into indestructible monsters." That would explain the monsters roaming the streets of the city, and in every building that was thought to be safe. We continued to walk the path, and started walking towards the big hole in the ground under the road that was no longer there. "That explains the horrible things we've seen..." Leon spoke up for both of us, it was almost as if we could read each others minds and speak what the other was thinking in a situation like this, it made me feel closer to him.
We began walking to a part that looked like it was under construction, and it just so happened that it led right under the city.
"And that's why i'm looking for Annette Birkin—" Ada spoke up again, the name sounded familiar but as of now it wasn't ringing any bells for me to place where i've heard the name. "She's the one at Umbrella responsible for unleashing the virus. I'm going to bring her down." Ada sounded serious, why would I have no reason to trust her now when she seemed to dislike Annette so much? I don't know, but no matter, I still had a hunch that I shouldn't have trusted her.
We continued to walk down the platform and down the metal stairs with metal pipes sticking out from the sides and up into the air.

| THE SEWERS |

We made it to the hole I pointed out to Leon earlier before we walked into the gun-shop, "This is how we get to Annette." Ada stopped walking and stared down the hole, lucky us there was light inside from the looks of it. "Based on what you've said, the sewer seems fitting." Leon huffed, I could hear the sass in his voice and it sounded like he could've rolled his eyes when he spoke. "Well said."
Leon and I stood at the entrance while Ada stood at the side, "After you two." I nodded and started walking in, "Gee, thanks..." Leon replied and followed behind me to which Ada folllwed behind us.
I didn't understand why we needed to walk in first before her, wasn't she the one with all the knowledge of what this place was? Leon and I didn't have a clue.
We walked through tons of mud that was wet, while different things were in it. There was a traffic cone, and farther down a wheelbarrow with random things in it.
We eventually made it to the end where we had to turn left, we couldn't go straight due to it being caved in and a ton of mud helped stopping that path. "Can't imagine a real scientist being down here..."
We turned to walk down the path, this time we walked on what looked to be brick. Different pipes decorated the walls we walked down. "According to HQ...this leads right into Umbrella's secret facility." Ada spoke up, still right behind us. If i'm being honest, I was a little scared she made us go first in case she needed to bolt and turn on us, it made me uneasy and uncomfortable.
"Come on. Sewers are run by the city. How could they have a facility...without the authorities knowing?" Leon questioned her, I wondered the same thing - but then again it's America and ton of shady shit goes down here. "Welcome to corporate America." Ada mumbled, not seeing too enthusiastic as the other times she's spoken.
The tunnel curved to the right while we walked down, some of the ceiling had fallen onto the ground and left big clumps open for us to look up at either the ground or the sky. "Umbrella's controlled Raccoon City for years."

We eventually started walking down, going deeper. It took us a little bit to walk to the end, and when we did we had to turn left, this whole place was like a maze if you weren't took careful watching where you were going.
There was another dead end ahead of us, right as we were about to turn to the side way to the right of us the whole place began to shake, some of the ceiling collapsed even more.
"Jesus, that an earthquake!?" Leon called out to Ada, she was a little bit further behind us now, we turned to the right and started walking down that hall. "I sure as hell hope so." She replied, at the end of the small hall there were bars, and something HUGE on the other side, when we stepped closer it started slithering away - causing the whole place to shake again. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" "What the hell?!.." "Stay sharp!"
We walked into this little room to the left at the end of the hall, it had a few things in there like a table and some chairs with a large sink, but nothing too fancy. "God only knows what's down here.." Ada spoke, walking into the small room after us. We walked out of that room and down a few steps, this looked like a place for a train to run, but half of it had been collapsed and I guessed it was from that huge monster we just got a glimpse of. The walls were riddled with certain colored cords and different pipes that led all the way down to who knows. At the end of the hall, or as far as we could go, there was a few steps leading up and to the right there were more leading down. "This looks really weird.." I mumbled, down the steps was another hall way and more rumbling. "Again?!" Leon asked, "It's not too late to turn back, Leon. You seem to be the only one whining." She mumbled, I could hear her roll her eyes while she spoke. "No chance. You're stuck with both of us to the end."
We walked down the hall and turned to the right, underneath us was some open flooring that looked like if you put enough weight on it, it would collapse. I walked down to the edge of where it stopped and looked down, all I saw was a bunch of sewage water and trash, I could definitely smell it now. I closed my nose with my hand and made a face at Leon. I jumped down into the water "Ugh..I'm definitely burning these clothes, I smell like shit!" I called out to Leon, I started checking my surroundings when Leon screamed at me, "VAL RUN!!" I turned behind me to see this huge crocodile looking monster coming for me, it looked like the creature we saw earlier. "Oh shit.." I mumbled and started running in the other direction.
