𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑.

The tyrant fell onto the platform, it immediately locked eyes with Leon and I, it started coming towards the both of us, its arm was now on fire and the creature let out a thunderous roar. The tyrant started slashing its claws at both of us, we did our best to duck and dodge each slash but eventually Leon ended up getting hit. "SEVEN MINUTES UNTIL DETONATION."
"THAT FUCKING COUNTDOWN DOESN'T HELP DAMNIT!", I called out while the tyrant was focused on Leon. Leon had fallen to one knee after the slash, he quickly shook his head and got back up. While the timer was distracted I took my chance and continue shooting at him - my pistol was doing nothing to him so I had to start using other weapons, my machine gun was doing damage but it just wasn't enough, I was seriously trying my best. The tyrant stopped his focus on Leon and started stomping towards me. "Oh shit.", as it slashed towards me I ducked and weaved my way away from him and over to Leon. "We got this..just take down him and we're out of here.", Leon nodded at me. He grabbed his grenade launcher and I grabbed my shotgun, we both started letting loose on him. One shot after another - after several rounds of ammunition from both weapons, the creature still hadn't dropped. "SIX MINUTES UNTIL DETONATION.", we were running out of ideas and ammo.
That's when a random rocket launcher dropped onto the platform, inches away from the tyrant who was on his knee trying to regain his breath. Leon and I exchanged a glance after we saw the launcher. He immediately ran over to it, I pulled out my machine gun and started blasting the tyrant just in case he was going to get up when Leon was near him.

Leon grabbed the rocket launcher and hurried to my side. The tyrant started slowing getting up, even while I was shooting at him. "Take a fucking hint!", Leon screamed before shooting the tyrant with one of the rockets. Both of us looked away, once the smoke cleared we were able to see the tyrant - well what was left of him. Only his waist and below was left, the rest of it had been blown up by the rocket. After taking a few steps, the rest of his body dropped to the platform. Seconds later we had reached the destination. "FINAL DESTINATION.", both of us stepped off the shaft and onto normal ground. Still everything around us was collapsing. I was looking around to see where we could head to next. "FIVE MINUTES UNTIL DETONATION.", "LEON! THERE!", I pointed to a door that had a light on right above it.
We bolted for the door, Leon slammed his shoulder into the door to get it to open. Once it did we walked through, immediately we saw a train in front of us that was moving. "SHIT.", we had to hurry up before the train took off without us. Leon and I both ran, like our lives depended on it - and truth be told that is what depended on this. Leon eventually caught up with the train and was able to hop on, I was a little further behind. I forced myself to run faster, my heart felt like it was about to beat out of my chest. "VAL! COME ON!", Leon called out for me. I extended my hand out for him to grab, he did and yanked me onto the train once I was close enough. Both of us sat down, looking behind us as the place started to blow up. We both sighed, looking at eachother. Leon held his shoulder while I held my cheek. A minute or so went by and he picked up the wristband to stare at it. He seemed to be lost in a train of thought. "I can't believe I actually miss her..", shaking his head with a gentle smile on his face. My brows furrowed, 'Fucking idiot.' I said to myself in my head while I also shook my head back and forth. I couldn't believe he was saying all this after what happened between the two of us, after what she had done, what she put us through, all of the lies and deception! He threw the wristband off the train, I stood up and was getting ready to walk inside when Leon grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry V, I am. I don't know why I miss her..I just do. I feel so bad for all of the souls that were lost today, all of the ones who I could've helped, but I didn't get the chance.", Leon was now standing beside me, looking at though he was ready to cry. I felt bad, compassion for him. "I'm sorry Leon..you can't save everyone, that's just the way the world is. I know how you feel, I feel almost the same..if only things went down differently, we could've saved more than just ourselves. But it won't always be this way.", I smiled at him and he smiled back. He inched closer to my face, and kissed my forehead. "Thank you..for understanding V. I wouldn't be here without you.", "And I wouldn't be here without you either, Leon." The male gripped my hand a little tighter, I couldn't help but smile brightly, I held his hand while we both walked into one of the rooms on the train. We saw Claire with some little girl with her. "Claire!", I called out - she instantly looked over at us with a bright smile on her face. "Valentina! Leon! Oh I'm so glad you made it!", she greeted the both of us with a warm hug. "This is Sherry.", she looked over to the little girl who was wearing a jacket three times her size - I figured it was Claire's. The girl has a heart made of gold. "Hi there sherry! My my, you're a beautiful little lady.", I smiled at her, "hello!", she greeted me and Leon. She was a shy thing so I didn't pressure her anymore. "Gods, I'm just glad we all made it out of here." "Just like I said we would.", Claire chimed in and began to laugh, Leon and I laughed along with her.

Ah. You know you guys, I never though this day would come. Seriously. It's been over a year since I've started writing for this book, originally when I started this book - I was writing it just for views, and for votes. I wanted a book that was popular, but I almost immediately got hooked and attached to it. Not for the views or the votes, but because the story! Because I actually found a way to add my OC into one of my favorite gaming series. And I get to share it with you guys! So once again, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
