Leon and I walked out back to the Main Shaft, he still hadn't said anything else to me, we hadn't discussed anything. I wasn't even sure he was going to confront Ada to see if what Annette was saying had any kind of truth to it. Leon and I stepped down onto the walkway when we saw Ada going to the main elevator, she used some kind of device on it to grant her access, the door slid open, she then noticed us and started walking over. I looked up to see tons of rubble falling, I was scared some of it was gonna hit us knock us off or maybe even worse.
I could see that her leg was still hurt due to her limping over to us, Leon walked in front of me but I stayed a good few feet from behind him just in case. "We were just thinking about you.", he said nonchalantly with his hands at his sides, neither hand held a weapon to cause any alarm. "That makes three of us.." Ada looked around like I had been to see all the rubble falling - the whole place began to shake and I let out a gentle squeal once the path we were on began to shake, "I was starting to get worried."
"Y'know..we make a good team."
Leon continued walking the path, I followed behind him but still a great distance away.
"But I gotta ask you something.", he was interrupted by Ada stepping down the few steps with her hand held out in front of him. She started looking around again while she walked closer to him, "The ways clear. Please tell me you got it."
"Oh, we got it."
"Let me verify the G-Sample and we can get out of here.", Ada was now directly in front of Leon with her hand out, she didn't realize I was holding the sample. "Before we do that..we ran into Annette.", Ada started pulling her hand back, letting her arm drop to her side while she looked at Leon - waiting for him to finish saying what he had to say. "She claims you're not FBI.", he said it was with hatred it shook me, my eyes widened. That's when realized what was happening, I was in a haze due to everything we had gone through. Ada tilted her head to the side, shaking it back and forth with a gentle smirk on her face. "Oh, Leon..", Ada turned to look away but quickly pulled her pistol out and aimed it at Leon - Leon quickly retaliated and aimed his at her, I did the same thing as Leon. "Why couldn't you both just hand over the sample?", the walkway beneath us was starting to break off in pieces - I stepped closer to Leon since the one part I was standing on was about to fall. "Because..I realized. As much as I wanted to trust you.. I didn't." He held his ground, not moving his pistol - he had a firm grip and a firm standing. "I really hoped it wouldn't end like this..", Ada spoke out, visibly mad due to her facial expressions. Leon shook his head at her, "So that's all this was..we were just some pawns to you?!", I could hear in his voice was angry he was getting - I myself was getting angry at just the thought of her making us do her bidding. She used the both of us, I was right. My suspicions were true. I knew there was a reason not to trust her, she truly wasn't FBI. But now what?
Ada tilted her head again at Leon, "Look, I'm just doing my job.." "And I'm doing mine, so DROP THAT DAMN GUN. We're taking you in.", Leon inched a bit closer to her which urged me to move slightly closer. "Hand over the sample, Leon!", Ada urged him, "I don't wanna hurt you."
That's when half of the floor beneath us broke in half, I ended up falling on my ass, sliding down a bit, the G-sample came out from my back pocket - I quickly grabbed it before it dropped into the void. "Leon, wrap this up!", I called out. He looked behind him at me, and then back at Ada. He dropped his arms to his side. "Then you shoot me..shoot US. But I don't think you can." He grumbled to her, no longer aiming his pistol. He stood there staring at her while she had her gun aimed at him. "Leon!...no!..", I tried to get his attention - this wasn't a good idea, but he wasn't listening to me. Neither of them cared to look at me, Ada gripped her pistol harder and bit her lip. I was hanging off the side - there wasn't much I could do. I either had to drop the sample and reach for my gun to help Leon..or let her shoot him.

"Fuck..FUCK!", the G-Sample slipped out of my hand and into the void, I pulled myself up and aimed my pistol at her - I shot her in the shoulder. Ada lowered her pistol and began reaching for where I shot her. Leon quickly turned to look at me, a shocked expression. I couldn't tell if what I had just done was good or bad - but in my eyes, it was good. The floor beneath us crumbled and shook some more, sending Ada off the side of it, she held on and Leon reached for her. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He was trying to help the same person who had been using us from the moment she met us! I quickly stepped over to the main platform in case the bride completely collapsed, Leon watched me move but he didn't care. He was still trying to pull Ada up. "Val..help me!", he looked at me with desperation in his eyes, I shook my head. She slid some more and was now completely hanging off the side with nothing but Leon to hold her up. "Leon..", Ada mumbled while shaking her head. "Hold on..I think I can..", Leon began trying to pull her up and the bridge starting getting worse, "ARGH, SHIT!" - the whole middle of the bridge was now gone, there was only the little section that Leon was on that was left. "Forget it.." Ada spoke to him, "Shut up- I've got you.." Once again he tried pulling her up. I just stood there watching. There was no way I was about to help him save her, not after the damage she had caused. "It's not worth it.", I heard her speak - lowly. She began sliding out of Leon's grip, taking a quick Look beneath her before looking back at him. "Take care of yourself, Leon.", Ada mumbled with a smile before she completely slipped out of Leon's grip. "ADA NO!", he called out while she was falling. She looked graceful, I'll give her that. I shook my head and turned away. He slammed his fist down and stood up, walking to the main shaft where I was. "We could've saved her..", Leon shook his head. "You wanted to save her, after everything she's done? No fucking way!", "Shit just..let's just get out of here before the whole place comes down on us."

..okay yes, another chapter today. Erm, you guys also might be getting ANOTHER chapter today, and it might very well be the end of this book...
