| THE SEWERS |

"VAL RUN!!" I turned behind me to see this huge crocodile looking monster coming for me, it looked like the creature we saw earlier. "Oh shit.." I mumbled and started running in the other direction.

Behind me was a big ass monster, I couldn't tell what the fuck it was nor did I get a good look at it, I was too busy running through fucking sewage to save my own life.

My running was sluggish due to the water and the amount of trash in it, every step I took it felt as though I was stepping on more trash, not to mention the trash floating on the surface of the water alone - it was enough to fill the whole cities dumpers.

I heard chomping from behind me, my heartbeat quickened and so did my pace. "VAL COME ON!! YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!!" Leon encouraged me - though he was safe from the crocodile looking creature, "I AM TRYING!" my voice echoed through the room as I ran.
my body was tired from the amount of running and how heavy the water felt on my body.
The creature began to chop again and this time lunged at me, I managed to move over to the side just in time. seconds later he lunged again, I had to move back to the side I was on.
Quickly I came to the end, I tripped and slid down the side, landing in the water. Behind me was the creature - caught on a gasoline pipe with it in between its jaws, I raised my handgun and shot three times at the pipe before it exploded, the creatures head bursting off with the explosion, leaving only the creatures body, it slide down close to me - it was still twitching. My brows furrowed and I tried not to look at the weird overgrown creature. I just focused on looking for a way out of the water. "Ha! Chew on that — you overgrown son of a bitch!" Leon shouted while Ada lowered a ladder for me to climb up, "Here! Use the ladder!" Ada called out for me to hear, "Got it!"
I began climbing up the ladder - my body tired and worn out from all the running I just had to go through, not to mention how wet my clothes now were which made it even worse.
"Remind me next time, one of you go first." I patted Leon's shoulder, after speaking I was already out of breath,, he chuckled "Next time, both of you let me go first - there's no telling what's down here and that big ass creature just proved it...though Ada..." Leon was speaking while the three of us were walking, me and Leon walked behind Ada while she led us to an elevator. "You said the virus turned people into monsters, not reptiles." He sounded so sassy with the sentence he had just spoken, it made me giggle under my breath. Ada shot me a glare before looking at Leon, "Fair point." Ada huffed, crossing. her arms when she entered the elevator and leaned against the back wall. Me and Leon stepped inside, doing the same as Ada while we waited for the next stop.

Leon decided to try and continue the conversation, "So let me get this straight: Umbrella sells monsters like that to who? our military?... somebody else's?" His tone very concerned while he finished his sentence, "They don't sell the monsters, they sell the viruses that make them." Ada was staring at Leon with her arms crossed, back against the left elevator wall. "And Annette is who makes the viruses.. scary as that alligator was.. Annette is far more dangerous." The woman finished speaking.

Once Ada had finished speaking the elevator stopped moving, we were on the bottom floor - well, as far as the elevator could go down. Leon stepped out first to check the surroundings and Ada quickly followed behind him - leaving me in the elevator alone, as I walked out I had my handgun in my hands, aimed at the floor while both my hands gripped the gun tightly - I was ready to shoot.
Though lucky for us there was nothing in the small room we had just entered, just a few boxes laying in the floor, empty and falling apart, there was only a few bullets laying on a table close to the exit door. "Here Valentina, you could use a few more." Leon nodded his head towards the few handgun bullets lying on the table, "Don't you need some Leon?" "Nah, I'm fine for now, I'm sure you need them more than I do." He gave me a warm smile and picked them up for me, I held my hand out and he dropped the few bullets onto my hand, "Thanks Leon..I appreciate it." I returned the smile and retracted my mag, I slid the few bullets into it and then pushed it back into my gun, making sure it was ready to shoot before we walked through the door.
"Are we ready?" I asked, Leon nodded at me "Sure am." Ada didn't speak, she just waited for one of us to open the door, eventually Leon opened it slowly with his gun slightly pointed.
Once Leon stepped through the door so did I, Ada was the last one out.

"Definitely Williams Handiwork.." I heard a female whisper, my eyes quickly scanned the room in which I was met with seeing a strange woman crouched over a dead body of what looks to be someone already turned into a mindless monster. Leon and I quickly aimed our handguns at the woman, surrounding her. "Identify yourself!" The rookie demanded, the woman then noticed us and looked at Leon with a questionable look on her face. Once Ada could see who we were looking at she immediately aimed her gun, "Annette Birkin." She sounded fierce with such a statement, me and Leon quickly exchanged glances at eachother then looking back at Annette. "Is she who we're looking for?" I asked Ada with my brow raised, my gun still in position to shoot Annette. she hadn't moved since she noticed us, just staring at us - she knew she was cornered and had nowhere to go. "Not much time.." Annette mumbled and looked back down at the body she was still crouched over, she then stood up "..Need to dispose of it.."
"We're here for the G-Virus." Ada stated, walking closer to Annette with her gun still aimed at her head.
Annette looked at Ada with a smirk on her face, "That's not going to happen." She stated simply, "I'm warning you, doctor." Me and Leon hadn't moved our gun or our body, nor did we look away.
"Oh yeah?" Annette questioned, she then took a match from the back of her pocket, lit it and threw it on the body. "Hey!" Leon called, "STOP!" Ada called while Annette ran away, all three of us followed behind her, I shot atleast twice - I was sure one hit her shoulder, Ada began to shoot but missed - Annette pulled her gun out and began to aim at me when Leon threw himself in front of me - the bullet hitting him in his shoulder.

Hello loves! I apologize for my absence in this story, this chapter randomly came out of the blue I know - I haven't even been playing resident evil lately since i've been so busy but I just had some muse to write this chapter, this story is nowhere close to done and I just have the whole story planned out for Valentina and Leon it makes me so happy everytime I think of it but ITS ALSO SO SADDDDDD
