"ATTENTION: Unauthorized removal of a level four virus detected, facility lockdown initiated.
Self-destruct sequence will begin when lockdown is complete."

The words came through from the speakers in the lab, I wasn't sure if I heard correctly. "Self-destruct?..", I looked at Leon with the sample of the G-Virus in my hand - a firm grip on it. "That's our queue to get out of here, before the place blows up with us in it.", Leon seemed too calm about the whole thing - meanwhile I was freaking out, not so much on the outside, more so on the inside. I was praying in my head we would make it out alive, while we walked back through to the bioreactors room, my thoughts were racing. 'Now that we have a sample of the virus, what's supposed to happen? We give it to Ada, and that's the end? Umbrella goes down? It seems too easy, well..not looking at all of what we've gone through tonight..it's way too easy. There has to be something we're missing." I continued thinking to myself while we walked; Leon in front to make sure I was safe.

| BIOREACTORS ROOM |

Walking along the platform, we reached the two doors but before we could open them to walk through there was sounds of a loud crashing noise - I knew it was in the room we were in but I didn't know where it was coming from. I frantically began looking around the room, but noticed nothing. "Valentina, watch out!", Leon called for me, he was looking up. I turned around and looked where he was looking, the big creature from before had bursted through the ceiling. "IS THIS WILLIAM?!" I called out, glancing back from the creature that landed on the same platform as us, to Leon. He only shrugged his shoulders, but from the view we watched - it seemed to be the same person. Though instead of the creature looking like an actual person, it looked just like the parts of the virus we saw in the concubines in the lab. On its right shoulder it had a gigantic eyeball that was pulsing, the skin around it was exposed, you could see the veins and meat, its fingers weren't fingers anymore, they were gigantic claws! - the whole creature was pulsing. Nothing was normal on this creature besides the head and part of its legs - even at that, those parts were slowly being taken over by the G-Virus too!
The creature landed on its knees, slowly it got up and stood its ground, the creature started limping towards us, "You again?", Leon and I raised our pistols to the creature. The doors behind us slid open and someone had ran through them. "Move! He's mine!", The voice sounded familiar - that's when Annette pushed past us, limping with a strange gun in her right hand. She aimed it at the creature, her breathing estatic. "This has to end!", She took a shot at the creature, but instead of it being a normal bullet - it looked like water, I'm sure it wasn't, it had to be some kind of acid because the creature began to freak out - its skin pulsing red even more. "What the hell's going on?!", Leon questioned her, his eyes flickering from the monster to Annette, while she was reloading her gun the creature dropped down to its knees. "Sorry, William.", Annette spoke. "I was right..that is William! Leon he's who we saw in the video tape! He's the reason the virus escaped!", My eyes were wide while I looked at Leon, not even thinking to look away. The story was starting to make more sense to me now. The only question left was - how were Annette and William related? Family? Siblings? Or just lab partners?..
"You left me no choice.", Annette continued to limp towards William - once again aiming her gun at him, she shot at his gigantic eyeball with the same round as before. He screamed out in agony before dropping still on the platform. Leon and I walked closer to him with our pistols aimed and pointed towards him, Leon knelt down and lowered his pistol, "You called this thing 'William'..is it really him?" Leon was looking at William, though once he finished speaking he quickly darted his eyes to Annette who was shaking her head while staring at William. I lowered my pistol and stood beside Leon, just in case Annette was going to try something on us I made sure to hold my pistol in my left hand and not put it back in its holster. "It shouldn't have been like this..", Annette continued to shake her head while her eyes not once looked away from the creature that was now dead on the floor. "It's Umbrellas fault..this whole mess!", She sounded like she was becoming more and more out of breathe while her shoulders moved up and down quickly while she spoke. "Don't you work from
umbrella?..", I chimed in, my eyebrow raised in confusion, "Are you telling us, you weren't involved in this?", Leon spoke after me while he was still kneeling beside the creature - his eyes steady on Annette's face. She began to speak again, in a hurry. "Yes.. But we never meant for this to happen!", Annette began to raise her voice while she turned her attention away from William and to Leon. She began to bawl her fists while speaking, shaking them gently. Leon stood up quickly and walked over to her, I hadn't seen him ever move so fast before it caught me off guard. "Then tell me everything— right from the start.", de demanded her while being a few inches away from her. Annette took a few glances around before she began to explain.
She began to speak of how she walked into the lab after the men had came in, in the video we seen. They'd shot William, he was laying on the floor with his back to the thing that was holding the sample of the G-Virus I was holding. He had injected himself with a big dose of the virus before she walked in, "So you made this monster?", Leon made a hand gesture over to William who was now dead on the floor. "We made the G-Virus but we never intended this to.." "You can spin it anyway you want. You're still responsible.", Leon had cut Annette off from speaking. I didn't feel the need to step in and say anything, Leon seemed to be handling this really well. That's when the mutant on the floor in front of us began to start pulsing again, the eyeball on his arm blinked a few times, "LEON LOOK OUT!", I screamed while trying to jump at Leon to make sure the mutant didn't grab him. William ended up grabbing Annette with his huge arm. He stood up, crushing her ribs and then threw her against the wall next to the two doors we were trying to go through when he made an exquisite entrance. Annette landed on her side while holding the gun in her left hand now - I could tell it was hard for her to breathe. In my effort to try and save Leon from Williams grasp, I ended up tackling him to the floor. Once I was fully aware of what was going on, I got off of him and pulled Leon to his feet.
We looked at William, who was no longer William anymore. He grew another claw on his left arm, then suddenly a whole extra arm on the same side. He had eyeballs all over his body that were pulsing, his feet were no longer feet and neither was his head. He had fully turned due to the G-Virus. He wasn't William anymore.
The mutant slashed at me and Leon, we quickly ducked to avoid his grasp. "WHAT THE HELL?!", Leon screamed out. "Shit!" I said when I noticed that the mutant was trying to take out the platform we were standing on. I raised my pistol to the creature like Leon did.

The lights in the room went red, an alarm started going off. The two of us frantically looked around to see what was going on, Annette had pushed the button to the platform for it to lower to the bottom level of the room. "WHAT'RE YOU DOING?!" Leon and I both spoke at the same time to Annette, clearly she had lost her mind. "We can't let him get away!", she wanted us to kill the creature.
Leon and I hopped the railing on the side of the platform once we got close enough to the ground, landing on our feet we then readied ourselves for when the platform fully stopped at the bottom floor. The creature slashed away the rails, "Alright.. we end this here!"
