Ch16: What a funny situation

"whao...." Yui explamied silently under her breathe as she looked at the huge migestic flower. she could sense a sweet smell surround her, making her feel relaxed and calm. This calmness she has felt after a long while. 

"Ruki mentioned that this flower craves the blood of humans. its chooses people to consume by making him do as it wishes... ha... beautiful things can prove to be fatail huh?" Anim chuckled as he had both of his hands in his pockets. He too could smell a sweet scent in the air, but it didnt make him feel calm and relaxed like Yui was; to him, the flower was just very freagrent. 

"both of you, be carefull okay? if you two feel anything strange. just tell us" Ruki warned as he crossed his arms While Shu nodded. Anim chuckled as he turned to Ruki, "You know that magic doesn't effect me. I would be fine~" He told, waving his hand around. 

"You are a bit careless which is a whole another thing to be worried about you know?" Shu chuckled to himself as he reached his hand out and patted Anim's head; who was having a slightly frowning brows to the comment. Not like Shu said anything wrong.

"I... I want to go a little closer to the flower..." Yui told, making Ruki turn to her in an instent. "pardon?" 

"Don't worry Ruki. I just want to look at the flower more closely. Trust me, I am fine" Yui smiled softly at him. Anim's attention was suddenly shifted towards their interaction, Since when did Yui became so... bold? normally she would avoid being in the presense of such deadly plant but she wants to go closer...?  

"what's wrong?" Shu asked as Anim snapped out of his thought, he looked up and hessitated to tell, "Don't worry.. I am too much of a log to.. like... care" Shu sighed and turned his head away. Anim chuckled at his words a little, why would Shu say something like that when he clearly does. Either way, Anim sighs and knew he could tell his worries to him. 

afterall, Shu did make him go out with him to clear his mind.  you could say, 'Shu tried to Shuuuuu the negatively away---' okay sorry-

"well... Yui just acted a little off ... It's probably me looking into it too much but I really can't help it." Anim explined, Shu hummed at it as he closed his eyes, "Yui is not a child, And she now also has other people to take care of her besides you..." Shu told, he slowly raised his head to look at the flower finally bloom. 

"maybe... you should start caring for yourself first and then... maybe then you would be able to properly protect others around you too" 

Anim's mouth was left partly opened as he looked at Shu. His words did stung him like a sore cord but... maybe he wasn't wrong... Anim stared at Shu and how beautiful he looked. He was beautiful, he always was but this moment flet a little different... His heart was beating faster, not beacause he was flustered like he usually was around him, it was... different. It was very different from the other feelings... 

Shu turned his eyes towards Anim. A soft smile appearing on his face as he spoke, "If you stare so much, I might just get jinxed~" He flicked Anim's forehead with a chuckle. Anim could tell his heart was racing even more. He turned his head away as he looked at the already bloomed flower, looking Magestic and pretty. 

It was nothing campred to Him though...

"KAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" 

And there goes Yui in the comically huge vains of the killer magistic flower.

"... I... Well this is a funny situation..." 

Anim and Yui are both captured by the magictic flower while Shu and Ruki are just looking in horror. Anim may have tried to summon his dragon, Custurd but before that, he got captured and now dangling with Yui.  

"Anim? can't you use your magic thingy?!"  Yui yelled as Anim sighed. "Yui... My hands are literally tied to my back, I can't perform those without Blood. I can't do those without motions. Shapeshifting wouldn't work, Time changing wouldn't work because I am not the one who affect the action Andddd Levetation would work beacause Hand gestures!! I HATE MAGIC- " 

While Anim was Racking his brain around, Yui was being suffacted more and more. "An-Anim.." she whines. Then suddenly, a literal table is yeet towards the flower- er- monster. "OI!! DON'T DIE ON ME YUI!!" Ruki yelled as one of the monters vains harshly hit the floor and BROKE IT. While Ruki and Shu moved away from the attack, The grip of the vains around Yu and Anim lossned, Something slipped from Yui's pocket as it started to fall down, The perfume that Ruki gave Yui. 

Anim's eyes widened when he saw it slip down, 'Demons hate the fregreses...'. 

He managed to slip is hand out because of the lose vains and used his levetations abilities to undo the perfurme vaiel and just threw it towards the monster. It afftected it just like acid, rotting it away as the loud cry was heard. and the Veins came completely undone.

Anim and Yui both immediately fell downwards as both were caught of guard, but they also got caught by the two vampires that stood below. 

"you also make reckless acts... you could have died!" Shu yelled at Anim as he caught him in his arms, Anim looked at Shu and just laughed, "Shu, I can't die!" 

Shu frowned more, He knows Anim can't die... But he doesn't want to take a chance to loss him like he lost his one friend years ago... he sets Anim on his feet as both of them look to see both Yui and Ruki. Yui held her head as she tried not to collapse on her own feet. 

"you two okay?" Anim asked as Yui looked at Anim weakly and nodded. "Yui is weak... must becasue she was being suffacated moments ago. But... I am glad everything is alright" Ruki sighed. 

Anim smiled at the two as he looked behind them, seeing the once magictic flower, turninh into a blood thirsty monster and now rotting plant corpes. He was about to suggest all of them leave but he sensed it something... A sense of magic that he was familiar with. The moment he turned to look at now dead Monster, He could see it rise again and raising veins to attack. 

"Guys, Run!" Anim yelled as started to push his friends away. 

'Mr. Karl... We need to have a long talk about this...'
