"I know who you are, Hyejin." She hissed in disgust, wiping the smirk right off of Yuqi's smug face. "And Miyeon will not be meddling with the likes of you three."

I swallowed a lump in my throat then peered over at Soyeon, who was fuming. Yuqi bounced right back, her calm and quick witted demeanor making a mean return.

"Ah, you know who I am? So you know that I've never failed at my job before? Perfect. So I can save you the introduction." She quipped. "Well, I know who you are, Cho Eunseo."

Obviously, Yuqi had done her homework. The more she spoke, the more suffocating tension built in the air.

"Oh, I know you know who I am, Yuqi. Everyone here does." Eunseo scoffed. Yuqi stood up, standing tall right before Miyeon's mother, their faces just mere inches apart.

"Oh, but I know you like nobody else does." Yuqi trilled, her eyes narrowing sharply as she focused in on her, like a hawk watching its pray.
"See, you may have fooled everyone else into thinking you're an angel, but I am not so naive. I'm not stupid like the rest of these overfed pigs raised on daddy's money. You hear me? It doesn't matter how many times you try to pull the wool over my eyes, it will never work. You have nothing on me." Yuqi growled, sending shivers down my spine. As I felt my own blood go cold watching Yuqi basically dissect this woman with her eyes, the scene got even more intense when Eunseo opened her mouth again.

"You young people think you know everything, don't you?" Eunseo scowled, letting a breathy chuckle escape. "You don't know anything about me or this family. Say what you like, this is my domain, and I'm afraid your rat pack will have to infest somewhere else."

"Rat pack? Would a rat pack successfully track down a murder suspect? Or perhaps an entire blood line of political corruption?" Yuqi cackled back, a smirk curling on her lips as the woman's expression grew more and more bitter.

"I don't know what you're implying." She grumbled through her teeth, eyes piercing through Yuqi's menacingly.

"Oh, you know exactly what I'm implying." Yuqi simpered. "You're a cold hard criminal, Mrs. Cho." As the situation escalated, Eunseo's bottom lip pursed inwards, her teeth biting down on it with exhilarating force. She was practically vibrating, looking like she was going to explode any second.

"Someone hold me back before I beat the shit out of an old lady." Soyeon mumbled supposedly in a sarcastic manner, clearly glad Yuqi was finally cornering the "witch". I gripped her hand tightly, lightly grasping her arm in an attempt to keep her brewing fury at bay.

"All you do is talk..." Eunseo snarled, shaking her head slowly. "I should swat you like a fly..." Eunseo continued to hold in her rage, but all of her effort fell fruitless. All eyes now on her, her gaze lit up with the rage of a forest fire, and she combusted.

"Since you intend on being such a pest!" She erupted, raising her hand and swiftly slapping Yuqi across the face, earning a loud collection of gasps from the crowd. As soon as hands were thrown, that was all Soyeon needed to be set off.

"Oh, fuck no." Soyeon snapped, instantly shooting up from her seat, my grip on her arm quickly being rendered useless. She shoved Yuqi out of the way, immediately going for a punch right on Eunseo's face, shocking the peanut gallery even more. I watched as whispers and miscellaneous conversations budded among the large group, horrified looks pasted to their faces.
