Suddenly, another person barged into the room, making everyone's heads turn. It was Minnie.
"Ok, I know you're pissed at me, but you seriously weren't gonna tell me you were in the hospital dying?" She exclaimed, rolling her eyes as she approached my bed.
"And who's this?" Yuqi asked, cocking her brow in a slightly judgmental manner.
"Look, for the record, I literally haven't told anybody. I haven't even been awake for five minutes yet." I replied. "And I'm not dying." I chuckled, as Minnie frowned.
"No, who are you?" Minnie scowled at Yuqi. "I'm her best friend. You told this bitch about all this but not me?" Minnie complained, looking back at me in disapproval.
"She was literally there when it happened. Calm down." Soyeon butted in. "And her name is Yuqi."
"Ok, whatever, can y'all leave for a minute? I need to have a word with this one." Minnie said as she pointed to me. Soyeon and Yuqi looked at me, almost as if asking for my approval. I nodded and shooed them off, Yuqi shrugging as they both left the room.
"Listen." Minnie began, sighing deeply.
"Mhm?"
"I'm sorry for what I said. I was joking but I realized it wasn't really an appropriate joke to make. I wasn't thinking. I didn't mean any of it but what I said wasn't okay. And the fact that that could've been the last conversation I had with you felt like... like shit, ok? I sobbed all the way here and... I just, that was like, the first time we've ever fought in our whole friendship and I want it to be the last." She uttered sincerely. "Will you please forgive me?"
"Wow, that's the smartest sounding thing you've ever said. Did you practice that in your bathroom mirror before you came?" I joked, to which Minnie immediately rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on! Is that a yes?" She whined. I laughed, and Minnie just stared at me. After I was done giggling, I finally nodded.
"Yeah. We're good."
Minnie sighed of relief, and wiped imaginary sweat off her forehead, making me chuckle lightly.
"Did Soyeon tell you I was here?" I inquired.
"Yep. She told me you were getting emergency surgery and you were in critical condition and I came as fast as I could, but by the time I got here I guess you were fine."
"I have so much shit to update you on. I think it's time I let you in on something. Let's FaceTime tonight and I'll tell you everything. Now isn't exactly the best time." I laughed.
"Yeah, so do I. Sounds good to me. Oh, also, is that Yuqi girl the same Yuqi you talked about that one time?"
"Yeah, it is. I'll tell you more about her tonight. There's just too much to tell you everything now."

"Take it easy, [Y/N]. You're still injured, you know." Soyeon scolded, helping me up from the hospital bed gently.
"I hurt my shoulder, not my legs. I can walk." I fought stubbornly, but then immediately winced when I put pressure on my arm to push myself off the bed.
"Be careful." She muttered, sighing. "Doctor also said you can't lift anything heavier than a cup while it's healing. I better not see you carrying that massive bag around campus on Monday."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I dismissed playfully.
"Love, are you sure you still wanna do the interrogation? You really don't have to... You should rest." She encouraged, pecking my cheek caringly.
