so this is an extended version of the friends reuniting after the battle. It is one of my favourite chapters and couldnt resist writing it in more detail. Please let me know if you want more one shots of Li'teya and Lo'ak or just little chapters of their life.

Pandora Reef
Metkayina clan
Li'teya's arms were tightly wrapped around her brother's waist as they sawm back to Awa'atlu on his ilu. The only sound that could be heard was the waves crashing against the shore. Li'teya closed her eyes in exhaustion. In the past few hours, she had fought against the sky people, watched the love of her life die, almost killed Quaritch, died and came back to life. There wasn't much to say to anyone at the moment. What could be said? Words couldn't comfort her right now. She glanced to her right to see Neteyam whisper something in Lo'aks ear. At least the two Sully brothers had something to say after the disastrous events. Lo'ak felt a pair of eyes burning into the side of his head, so he turned his head, catching those blue eyes he'd grown to love. He gave her a look asking if she was alright, to which she just shrugged. How could she be okay? Even though they were alive, Eywa chose for her to die, so why was she still breathing? Moments like now made Li'teya think the world would be better without her.
A few minutes later, the Omatikaya families reached the shore of Awa'atlu. Metkayian na'vi littered the shore tending to wounds and cleaning up the debris along the beach. Li'teya caught sight of her friends sitting on the beach; she noticed their exhausted appearance. Tsireya dived off her ilu, running towards her brother, who she tackled in a hug. Ao'nung wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close. His hand stroked down her hair as she sobbed into her shoulder.
"I thought I'd lost you, brother", she cried. Ao'nung placed his chin on her head, her hair tickling his chin, but he didn't care. All her cared about was his sister, safe in his arms.
Kiri jumped off her father's ilu, running towards Rotxo. The Metkayina boy wasn't expecting anyone to find him; it was just him and his grandmother at home after his parents were killed during a hunting trip. So when the Omatikaya girl pulled him into a bone-crushing hug couldn't help but thank Eywa for sending her to him. Rotxo pulled back, searching her for any injuries. His eyes widened when he saw the fresh cut on her neck from Quaritch's blade.
"Kiri", he started, but she quickly shushed him by pressing her lips against his. His hands immediately found her waist pulling her closer. The pair rested their foreheads against each other as they breathed a large breath.
Neteyam hugged his brother as soon as they touched the ground, afraid that Lo'ak wasn't here and that he'd disappear if he looked away for more than a second.
"Bro, I'm okay", Lo'ak wined, pushing his brother off him laughing slightly.
Neteyam sighed. "You are never leaving my sight again, baby bro", he warned, threatening to move in for another hug, but Lo'ak jumped back playfully hissing at him.
Neteyam held his hands up in defence, catching Ao'nung's eye. "I'll be right back", he mumbled before he stalked across the beach until he was at the Metkayina prince's side.
"Im going to find mum and dad", Tsireya whispered, squeezing her brother's hand as she walked away from the forbidden lovers.
The two boys just stared at each other. No words were exchanged as they awkwardly stood in front of each other. Neteyam's tail swung from side to side in anticipation.
"I'm, um, happy you're okay, " Neteyam mumbled, rocking on his feet.
Ao'nung looked down, his eyes filling with tears. Neteyam quickly noticed his change in demeanour. "Ao, what's wrong".
"I thought I'd lost you", tears now split from his eyes, "I thought id never see you again because I couldn't find you, and there were so many gunshots" Ao'nung's voice cracked as he tried to find the words. Neteyam finally understood how much he meant to Ao'nung and how much the Metkayina boy meant to him. Neteyam intertwined their fingers, his forest hands looking so much bigger. "I told you id always find my way back to you".
Ao'nung nodded, collapsing into Neteyams embrace. His once blue hands, tainted with blood, held onto the boy like he would lose him any second. Tears dropped onto their shoulders as their walls broke down, leaving two vulnerable boys who didn't understand their feelings, yet they knew that whatever they were doing right now felt right. That's all that mattered. Ao'nung pulled back from the hug, scanning the beach for a particular troublemaker.
"Li'teya? Is she okay?" Ao'nung asked worrdily
At the sound of her name, his ears dropped to the side of his head. "She, um, she's here, but Ao'nung, she was hurt badly".
"Badly. How bad?" bile began to rise in his throat, hearing that the girl he saw as his little sister was injured.
"Ao'nung, she died like her heart stopped", Neteyam explained, grabbing his hands once more to calm to boy down.
Ao'nung shook her head. "What do you mean she died? I thought you said she was here?".
Neteyam sighed; he realised this was a lot to take in. it was for him when he saw his brother and Li'teya sitting on the rock as if nothing had happened. "It is difficult to explain right now, but Li'teya is alive, and that's all that matters". Just as Neteyam finished his sentence, Ao'nung saw the Omatikaya princess hug Rotxo tightly. He saw as she checked him over for injuries like she wasn't the one with a large gash across her stomach or blood covering her skin.
"She looks ..."
"I know", Neteyam replied. He knew she looked like a ghost. Her skin was a pale blue, but it was hardly noticeable with the amount of blood on her. Li'teya stepped back from Rotxo an overwhelming feeling took over her. She darted across the beach until they landed on two familiar pairs. She just nodded at Ao'nung, not wanting to disturb the intimate moment between him and Neteyam, but the stubborn bastard he was forced her over to him.
"You're not escaping me that easily", he joked, hugging her tightly. Li'teya melted into the hug. She never thought shed be so happy to see him.
"Are you hurt" she mumbled into his shoulder. Ao'nung pulled back from the hug, looking over her frail body in shame.
"Nothing I can't handle", he replied.
Teya let out a breathy laugh. "You've found yourself a comedian, Teyam", Teya commented.
Neteyam just shrugged. "Eh, I'm not sure about that" the comment caused Ao'nung to whack his arm playfully.
"Li'teya!" her father shouted from their family, Mauri.
"Shit", she cursed. "I should go".
Neteyam grabbed her wrist gently. "Are you going to be okay?"
"I will be. I'll see you both tomorrow" li'teya stood on her tiptoes, kissing both boys on the cheek. She gave them one last reassuring look before she ran into her mauri.
