It was almost time for dinner, and Mik suggested we invite our new neighbours over for dinner and get to know them. We had ordered some takeout from a Chinese restaurant around the block. As we waited for them to answer the door, Mik said, "I hope they're not serial killers or anything." I chuckled and replied, "Well, I hope they're not picky eaters." Suddenly, we heard a loud thud and the sound of boxes falling over. As the door opened, a tall, white man with a friendly smile introduced himself as Flynn, saying, "Sorry about the noise. I'm still unpacking."
As we sat down on Flynn's couch, Wyatt joined us, introducing himself as well. Mik, always the social butterfly, asked, "So, what brings you guys to this part of town?" Flynn replied, "I just started a new job nearby, and Wyatt is a freelance graphic designer, so he can work from anywhere." Wyatt added, "Plus, we love the vibe here. Everyone seems so friendly and laid back."
As we chatted and got to know each other better, I found myself drawn to Flynn and Wyatt's personalities and charm. But as the night wore on, I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous as Mik flirted shamelessly with both of them. Trying to hide my feelings, I joked, "Looks like Mik is going to have a tough time choosing between you guys." Flynn laughed and replied, "Well, I guess we'll have to make sure she doesn't have to choose."
The next day, as I saw Flynn and Wyatt again, I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous and excited. I found myself wondering what it would be like to be in a relationship with them, but I knew that it was impossible while still in disguise. As we exchanged pleasantries, Flynn asked, "Hey, we're having a party next week. You and Mik should come." I hesitated, not wanting to draw attention to myself, but Mik convinced me to accept the invitation.
At the party, I found myself laughing and chatting with Flynn and Wyatt more than anyone else. As we played party games, Flynn leaned over to me and said, "You know, you're not like anyone else here. You're...different, in a good way." I blushed and replied, "Thanks. You guys are pretty different too." Wyatt chimed in, "Yeah, we like to think we're unique."
As the night went on, I couldn't deny that I had developed a crush on both Flynn and Wyatt. But I knew that pursuing anything with them was impossible while still in disguise. I tried to push my feelings aside and enjoy their company as just friends and neighbours. As the party started to wind down, Flynn said, "Hey, we should all hang out more often. Maybe we could do a movie night or something." I smiled and replied, "Yeah, that sounds great."
After the party, I found myself daydreaming about what it would be like to be in a relationship with Flynn and Wyatt. But I knew that I could never reveal my true identity and that pursuing them would be impossible while still in disguise. So, I tried to push my feelings aside and focus on the present, enjoying my time with them as just friends and neighbours.
