ryan living with the cohen's has been smooth sailing thus far. savannah was trying her hardest to push her feelings aside now that they would be living together. it was better off this way.
the brunette was sat on the couch in between ryan and her brother watching them play a video game.
"oh. oh. oh really? you think so?" seth boasted while absorbed in the game.
"i do." ryan clapped back. seth scoffed, "well, we'll see about that, monkey pox."
the television screen turned bright red appearing that player one, which was ryan, had won the game. seth dramatically sighed as ryan looked at him smugly.
"so the pupil has become the teacher." seth muttered.
"and that's what you get for being cocky. my turn." savannah quipped grabbing the controller from her brother who just rolled his eyes. ryan chuckled a bit at her response, he thought it was cute.
before they could start the next game, kirsten and sandy entered the living room both dressed nicely.
"hey guys!" sandy greeted.
"hey." ryan responded while seth and savannah looked extremely confused by their outfits.
"savannah, seth, we need to talk to ryan." kirsten told her kids ignoring the brunette's comment.
the three looked at each other guiltily wondering what they did wrong.
"okay. if this has to do with the rug though, i just want to tell you that ryan had nothing to do with it." seth announced getting up from the couch.
"shut up." savannah whispered nudging him.
"what about the rug?" kirsten furrowed her brows starting to examine it.
"uh, we're gonna go now." savannah quickly grabbed her brothers arm and led him out of the room as fast as she could.
sandy took a seat on the chair while kirsten stood next to him as ryan put the controller down leaning back on the couch.
"so, kirsten and i went to child services this morning. and we told them that, uh, that we want you to stay with us. but there's a catch. because you're a minor, the only way they'll allow that to happen is if we assume all legal responsibility for you." sandy explained while ryan looked hopeful.
