on this hot summer day, ryan and the cohen siblings decided to head over to the crab shack for lunch. it was on the boardwalk, so of course seth had to skate his way over.

the three were stood in the restaurant as savannah watched the two boys kneel in front of the live lobster tank.

"so, what are we doing in front of this tank?" ryan glanced over to ask seth.

"ryan, we're like two samurai, really. and we need to have respect for each other before meeting in battle. and eating lobster is a battle, as you will soon learn." seth explained very deep in concentration.

"is that a new shirt?" savannah questioned looking at ryan from the back. she wasn't planning on engaging in her brother's dumb ideas.

ryan sighed in guilt looking down at his chest as he stood back up, "yeah. your mom bought me some new clothes. which she didn't have to do."

"right." seth sarcastically sighed, "because we all know you get a lot of mileage out of a tank top. hey, speaking of which, do you think i could pull off the wife-beater? you know, switch up my look?" he pointed looking up and down from ryan's face to his shirt.

ryan averted his eyes to savannah who was stifling a laugh. seth seemed to get the clue. "gotcha. you got your style, i got mine.

"yep." ryan muttered just to shut him up.

"you're dead." seth whispered to the lobster tank as the three walked over to their table, making a gesture with his index finger at his neck.

"that was amazing. a lot of work, but amazing." ryan huffed looking down at his and seth's empty lobster shells on their plates.

"i still can't understand how you two can eat something that you just saw alive 30 minutes ago." savannah responded leaning back in her seat. she got shrimp instead. the boys seemed to look satisfied anyway, not really caring about the lobster's life.

"so, what's going on with you and marissa? did you talk to her?" seth nosily asked ryan, curious of what went down after the deb ball.

savannah wouldn't admit it out loud, but she was curious about what happened. the girl sat up higher in her chair ready to listen intently.

ryan sighed, "i don't think she wants to talk. everything with her and her dad is -"

"ryan, you know what your problem is?" seth interrupted. "and i speak from experience with great" authority here," savannah rolled her eyes at that comment, "is that you really need to be aggressive, okay? her and luke - they're broken up - which means that you need to go after her. tell her how you feel. it's very easy."
