Rosanna's P. O. V:

Before I could guess what was going on, I found myself staggering and leaning on to the stranger for balance. Students running here and there as people pulled and pushed.

What the actual fudge...?

While the earth trembled, I wondered what the chaos was all about.

Eyes growing wide in horror, the red haired girl grabbed my hand and ran. Dragging me along to goodness knows where.

It all happened in what seemed like a minute. One moment it was normal, the next I didn't even know what to define as abnormal. I was confused but my feet was forced to run along with the girl leading me.

Was this a terrorist attack?

Why? A bomb? What's going on!

Panic from the unknown clenched at my heart and twisted my insides. I was lost and following the crowd by the lead of the girl in a daze.

My surroundings blurred and I felt that bad premonition increase with the thumping of my heart.

Ba-dump!

Ba-dump! Ba-dump! Ba-dump!

Gah, dahmit!

"What's happening?!" I screamed at the girl in the midst of the chaos. Logic told me to keep calm but my fear prevailed.

This time, she wasn't only holding my hand. I held hers too. Tightly at that and the heat from our palms made our skin sweaty but none of us seemed to care. Of course who would in this situation?

"Demon attack! I don't know how they got in here but it's best if we stay away and let the practitioners do it!"

"What?" Was I hearing things?

"I said demon attack!" The girl screamed louder.

Exactly-

My thoughts were cut off as a nightmare appeared in front of me.

My steps came to a halt and our hands were jolted away in the suddenness of the situation.

Was it possible for my heart to beat faster than it was? Yes, yes it is.

Looking like the werewolves in fictional books, a huge black beast stood before me. In a pouncing position.

Sharp canines, menacing growls, eerie red eyes and all the frightening features one could imagine.

It stood a few steps away from me, eyes locked on mine.

My blood ran cold as screams rang about.

It was not the time to think, not the time to stop but I found my feet trembling and numb. I stood spell bound, entranced in a staring contest with the beast.

Run!

I told myself. But my body was in no command.

Run damnit!

Before I could begin running with zero to no strength, the beast's eyes narrowed on mine. Something glinted in those ferocious eyes.

And I could see myself in those red orbs. It said, 'dead meat damn'.

Red hair flashed by my side and I saw a wall of flame appear, blocking the beast from it's target.

She grabbed my hand roughly as we began running with the little time we had. And before I could analyze why a beast and fire appeared, I knew I owed this stranger a lot.
