Rosanna's P. O. V:
Transmigrating to a fantasy story might have been one of my top five best story troupe. But being a protagonist in such a plotline? Haha. No.
Just because exciting things have been happening in my life doesn't make me feel like a protagonist. Especially in this battle arena called alternate earth.
I can't help but feel more insecure as things continue to spiral out of my control.
Maybe I anticipated a lot of crazy scenarios considering this used to be a novel and very not 'realistic' but it just went off my charts to consider this typical demonstration.
The stinging of my cheeks made me raise a brow and release a short laugh. It's funny really. This whole act is so last century.
So a simple conversation can turn into a lack of brain demonstration?
Ha.
.
I woke up earlier than usual, even without my alarm clock starting my day as a nuisance.
It was the unending nerves I felt contrary to my ever placid expression. My sleeping schedule goes a little wonky whenever I sleep in a different area.
And for this place, I slept late and woke up early. A horrible setting if you ask me.
Dressing up in my outfit for the day, I settled for comfort over fashion. Basically a blue hoodie with a black turtleneck and black shorts. Packing my hair up in a ponytail.
Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I exited the room and locked the door. Wondering if Kairos had access to my private stuff.
Now, that would be plain rudeness to invade my privacy.
Thoughts wondering about, I walked down the hallway and stepped through the portal. Arriving at the stairway Naiyah dropped me off yesterday.
I went down the stairs and saw the sight of all Team Alpha and Natalie in the room. Chatting, eating and surrounded in the halo of main characters.
Pearce and Drake were arguing- voices half enveloping the noise in the room. I saw Elan in the middle, holding the two dorks aside from getting engaged in a physical fight.
It's worrying seeing them in reality than funny reading it in a novel. For a second there, I could see a time bomb ticking above their heads. A sign to the incoming fight that might include more than two parties.
Elan was seriously pissed, judging from how his expression became all the more friendly. Nothing seemed out of place with his prince charming expression.
Rather, the background seemed out of place. Who looks so amiable when your two friends are close to gouging each other's hearts?
“Knock it off, you two. You've been at this since yesterday, and I doubt you both will reach a conclusion. F*cking grow up and accept your views are different.”
Elan shoved Drake away and gave Pearce a kick.
“Well, second b*stard. If you couldn't realize, the only way for me to find a middle ground with this sh!t is when I grow retarded.”
