"Y/N? Are you okay?"

The sound of Chaeryeong's voice made you open your eyes and you noticed a look of worry on her face.

"Yeah, why?"

"Why?" She asked, almost surprised as to why you'd even ask her that. "I came home to find you on the bathroom floor with your eyes closed. I thought you passed out or something."

"I was just overheated so I decided to come lay here for a couple of hours. The times are so nice and cold. It feels great against my skin."

You closed your eyes but opened them again when you heard her laugh.

"The bathroom floor can't possibly be that comfortable, baby. Just thinking about lying on it for hours is making me ache."

"You're missing out."

The temperature had hit almost ninety degrees today, though that didn't even include the real feel.

That, along with the humidity, made it feel more like a hundred degrees outside and you couldn't stand it.

Despite having the air conditioning running and fans going, you still felt a little warm and because you hate the heat with a passion, you're always trying to find ways to cool down.

You could tell already that it was going to be a very hot summer considering it's still only spring and this heat is already so brutal.

So when you came in here to use the bathroom and felt the cold tiles against your feet, you had the idea that lying on the floor would probably be extremely comfortable, and you were right.

"I'm telling you, baby. It is very comfortable here."

She debated for a couple of seconds because, surely, the tiled floor couldn't be that comfortable.

But seeing how cozy you looked made her decide to join you and the second she was lying down, she felt the cool tiles touch her hot skin and felt immediate relief.

"Oh, this is nice."

You opened your eyes and nodded at her.

"Isn't it? I could lie here forever."

"I'd say the same but I think sleeping on our bed at night is a tad more comfortable than this." She joked.

"Good point." You giggled before reaching out to wrap your fingers around hers.

"Were you sleeping when I got here?"

"It's hot and I'm bored. What else is there to do besides sleep?"

She shrugged her shoulders before nodding her head.

"It's supposed to be cooler outside in about five days. We could just sleep the next few days away and wake up when it's nice and cool out."

"Sounds good to me." You sighed and closed your eyes, feeling even more comfortable now that you had Chaeryeong with you. "I love you."

"I love you too." She said, smiling to herself. "Let's stay like this for a while."
