My alarm went off at eight o'clock in the morning but I was sure Ethan was probably still fast asleep. I took a quick shower in the bathroom in my room before putting on some jeans and a t-shirt. Yeah, I probably looked terrible but I'd rather feel comfortable than look good. I mean, it's good to look nice once in a while but I'm just not in that mood to make myself look good. As I brushed my hair into a pony tail, I slipped my shoes on. My stomach rumbled so I walked down the stairs to the kitchen. I opened the cupboards and noticed some cereal. Pouring it on a bowl, I also poured milk onto it. I grabbed a spoon then started eating it in the dining room. I crunched at the cereal and awkwardly stared around the room. The table was massive! It was like one of those really long tables you see in movies and cartoons. The table had spoons which was already laid out on the table with plates and wine glasses. It reminded me so much of my favourite cartoon when I was a young girl- Beauty and the Beast. It was awkward though. If there was people sitting down with me, I think it would be quite difficult to talk to them or even connect with them. The table is just too long to talk to each other. After a couple of minutes, I heard someone walking down the stairs. It was probably Ethan as he was the only other person in the house. The door creaked open and I noticed Ethan with a bowl of cereal. He stared at me then walked over to the nearest seat which was right at the other side of the table across my seat. He shoved a mouthful then glanced at me. 'Are you feeling better?' I smiled. He nodded his head. I could tell he really didn't want me talking to him. I guess he's not really a 'morning person' and probably preferred to be left alone. It was silent- very silent. All I heard was our mouths awkwardly crunching at our cereal. I stared at him for a second but he just raised his eyebrow. 'What?!' He snapped. 'I thought you'd changed?' He narrowed his eyes at me, 'What do you mean?' I shook my head, 'You're unbelievable. Like seriously!' 'Why?!' 'Doesn't your face ever get tired? Frowning? I don't think I've actually ever seen you smile.' I smirked. 'Why do you care?!' He frowned. 'You know, I read from somewhere "Always smile because right this minute someone could be falling in love with it." It's true.' I smiled. 'Oh please!' He placed his spoon on his bowl and frowned at me, 'You really believe that shit?! You're so fucking cheesy.' I rolled my eyes, 'And you're so freaking grumpy!' I sighed then slowly walked up to him. I knelt down on my knees then looked up at him. He frowned at me yet again and mumbled, 'What the fuck are you doing?!' I placed my hands against his cheek and made his face form some sort of smile. 'See!' I smirked, 'You're smile is beautiful.' I smiled, 'I don't want to ever see that frown again, okay?' He shrugged making my hands fall beside me. 'Just get out of my house. I'm better now.' I shook my head, 'You have a mission? Well so do I.' I smirked, 'Operation Mr. Grumpy to Mr. Smiley undergoing.' 'Ugh! You're so annoying.'
