As I examined the pictures I have taken earlier this day, I felt my phone buzz in my bag. Frowning in confusion, I quickly took it out and checked. It was a notification from kik. At first I thought it was probably a friend I met on twitter or just a friend I know but I was wrong. Boy! I was wrong! Going on kik, I felt my heart skip a beat with butterflies endlessly fluttering in my stomach. Next to Jake's name was a small circle which indicated a new message from him. My fingers froze as I slowly waited for our conversation to open. He said, 'Hi'. Eventhough it was just one word it still meant a lot especially if it was coming from him. The guy I've loved since five years ago- my first love. My heart was literally racing and it felt wonderful that he's finally messaged me after five years but I don't care about the years, all I know is that I still love him. My fingers started typing, 'Hey:) Omg! How are you? We haven't spoken in ages. I've missed you.' After a couple of seconds he replied, 'Fine.' Why did he answer with one word? Does he still not like the fact that I said I loved him five years ago? 'Is everything okay?' 'Yes' 'Are you sure?' 'Yes!' 'Okay.. um.. so.. Do you still remember that time I first met you on twitter? :)' 'Yes.' 'It was funny, huh? Mr Cheesy;)' 'Yes, Ariana.' He replied. 'No! You're suppose to say Mrs Cheesy. You don't remember our cute names?' 'No. sorry.' What the bubble tops is wrong with him. He's not like the guy I first met. The cheesy guy, the one who always replies with long messages, the one who puts cute smiley faces to every message. I feel like he's changed. He sounds... grumpy. Grumpier than ever before... 'Ariana?' He asked. Just seeing my name got me nervous. I feel like he's going to ask something personal. 'Um.. yeah?'
