'Ethan!' I shouted, 'Wait up!' He slowly turned around to face me and shook his head before carrying on dragging my suitcase on the ground. He was a fast walker, I can tell you that! Like I've said before, he is impatient, arrogant and the most grumpiest person I have ever met. He's worse than my science teacher in high school and that's really saying something since my teacher was the most hated in school. I finally caught up with him but I was really out of breath. Yeah, I'm not the physical type of person, I prefer to take things slow and enjoy the peace. He was literally walking and I was jogging just to keep up with him. Don't get me started when he started speed walking- I was seriously running a marathon! He waved his hand around and cab stopped right in front of him. The driver opened the booth and placed both of our suitcases inside. We then got in the car and an awkward silence filled the small space. Staring out the window, the rain dripped upon the window and darkness was soon filling Texas. Lights started coming on and as we passed a motorway, all I saw was a lot of small houses with lights turned on. It was actually beautiful and I've never seen anything like it before. I quickly glanced at Ethan as he too stared out the window he was nearest to. When he looked at me, I quickly turned to face the window again. It felt weird- he was weird. Why did he come back for me? What mission is he talking about? That guy is so mysterious and I definitely don't want to be on his bad books. But I feel like I have to know more stuff about him, there's something about him that he's not telling me and I can't help but feel intrigued into getting to know him better. A couple of minutes went by and I saw a big mansion from a distance. It was certainly the biggest house I have ever seen. I couldn't believe it when the cab stopped right in front of it and Ethan walked out. It had a beautiful fountain that was right infront of the house, with two angel statues surrounding it. There were lights and flowers that beautifully decorated the front garden. Don't even get me started with the actual house. The house was painted white with black fences and pieces of wood that was neatly decorated on the walls. I was actually speechless. 'Are you really just going to stand out there in the rain?' Getting back into reality I noticed that Ethan had already put our suitcases back inside the mansion and that I had probably been staring at the house for the past five minutes. Placing my hand on my head from the rain but knowing that it was pointless as I was already wet, I ran on the pathway and walked towards the house. Like I had seen in films, mansions like Ethan's were obviously beautiful on the inside too. It had a chandelier in the living room with a massive TV that almost filled the whole room. It had red comfy sofas and a brown table in the middle. Ethan disappeared as I wondered around the living room admiring every space of it. 'Of course.' I mumbled to myself. Their Dad is from a successful business, that's why they're so rich and can afford almost anything! 'Here.' I jumped out of my skin. Slowly turning around, Ethan gave me a white towel. 'Dry yourself. I don't want my mansion getting dirty.' Sometimes, I actually thought he was caring, then he always adds another sentence that makes me regret I even thought about that. 'Thanks.' I dried my wet, damp hair and clothes. 'Come. I'll show you to your room.' He said. He grabbed my suitcase and we walked up the stairs. There were six bedrooms in total and all were extremely big. I don't understand how there could possibly be no ghost here. It was dark, cold and wet. I guess only him and I were home but what about when he wasn't in Texas. Who looked after the house? As we approached a room near the bathroom, we both walked in. He placed my suitcase beside the door and stared at me as I sat down on the bed. 'You want something, do it yourself.' His voice went cold. I couldn't read any of his expressions. He's strange! Very strange, it's like he had literally no expressions! What's wrong with him? 'Okay.' My throat went dry as he slowly looked around the room before opening the door. As he was about to walk out I said, 'Umm.. Ethan?' He stopped walking and listened but didn't turn around to face me. I shivered and mumbled, 'Umm.. Why did you come back for me?' He just shrugged and his voice went cold, 'I didn't want to.' He paused, 'It's probably going to be the biggest mistake I will ever do.' I don't really know what to think right now. Am I meant to be insulted or thankful he's letting me stay?
