As he slowly opened the car door, he carefully sat me down on the passengers seat right next to him. My heart was beating rapidly as he walked round to the drivers seat. I slid my seatbelt against my body and stared out the window. I was avoiding eye contact with him because I knew I probably wouldn't be able to take it. 'You okay?' Closing my eyes for a few seconds, I then turned to face him. I nodded my head before faking a smile. 'You look a bit pale.' He continued. 'Well I'm fine!' I hissed, 'You know, I don't even need to be here right now because my boyfriend can take me home!' I started to take my seatbelt off but he grabbed my arm and stopped me. I gazed up at his brown, glistening eyes, 'Please let me take you home.' He whispered. After having a rant inside my head, I decided to let him take me. He started the car and for the first few minutes everything was quiet. I certainly didn't want to talk because I could feel the tension between us. As we stopped at a red light, I saw him staring at me from the corner of my eye. Minutes went by when I coldly replied, 'You really should pay more attention on your driving instead of staring at me all day.' He shrugged before noticing the green light. He started driving again, 'You really love him, don't you?' He whispered. By his tone of voice, I gathered he was talking about Sam. Although I don't love Sam as much as I do with Ethan, he has grown on me and I do like him. 'Yeah. Best love of my life.' I lied, 'And you must really love Bella. I mean you're getting married to her next week.' I tried to not sound hurt and act as normal as possible. 'There's only one girl that I'll love and always will.' 'You didn't answer my question.' I raised my eyebrow at him but he just laughed and looked straight forward. 'It's arranged.' 'What?!' 'My marriage with Bella is arranged. I don't love her, Ariana.' I stared out the window. Why is this happening to me?! Why is he telling me now when I am more or less happy with Sam? 'Ariana, I lied to you when we were in Texas.' He paused, 'I'm more or less madly in love with you.'
