We slowly walked through the corridors leading to the entrance of the plane. People trailed behind us as we marched all the way to the end. I took a big step into the plane and was kindly greeted by a man and a woman. 'Good afternoon, we hope you have a great flight with us.' They said in unison. 'Thank you.' I smiled back. Walking through the small gap, I looked left and right finding both mine and Ethan's seat. We were right in the middle of the plane. Squeezing through the passengers seat, I took the seat near the window and Ethan sat beside me. I looked through the window and stared at the other planes parked outside. 'Wow.' I mumbled to myself. Slowly turning to face Ethan, an enthusiastic smile appeared on my face, 'I've never been on a plane before.' Ethan nodded his head and faked a smile. I could tell he didn't want to be with me right now, so why was he all nice to me a week ago and now it's like he can't wait to get rid of me? My smile disappeared as I saw his impatient look. Looking out the window, I stared at the airport I had been waiting in for the past five hours with him staring at his watch every second. If there's one thing I've already learnt about him- he's very impatient and grumpy. Where do they get their grumpiness from?! After a couple of minutes, the stewardess did a demonstration of how to put a seatbelt on and what to do if there was going to be a plane crash. It was interesting and I listened pretty well. This is a whole new experience for me and I don't really want anything happening like that especially its my first time to go on a plane. Waiting another few minutes, which felt like hours the plane started moving- very fast in a straight direction. Jeez, it was faster than a car! Within seconds I felt like I was in a rollercoaster, the plane started going up into the air. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, I could feel this weird sensation fluttering in my stomach. I did not let go off the arm rest and kept my eyes closed the whole time until finally the plane was in a straight position in the air. 'Umm...' Ethan scratched the back of his head with his left hand, 'You can let go off my hand now.' Quickly opening my eyes, I noticed my hand firmly placed onto his. My hand flew away and landed on my lap, 'Sorry.' I blushed. He rolled his eyes at me and got out a magazine that was tucked in the pocket of the seat in front of us.

Hours passed by and I noticed Ariana had fallen asleep on her seat. She looked like she was in an uncomfortable position but I didn't care. I just carried on reading my magazine. Minutes flew by and I noticed her head slowly slipping onto my shoulder. I rolled my eyes at her, I'm not here just to be cushion. I tapped on her head but she just mumbled, 'Jake.' I tapped a little harder and she quickly opened her eyes before sitting straight up. She glanced at me and realised she was resting on me, 'Sorry.' I shook my head, 'Look, Ariana, I want to make this clear. I'm not here to make friends with you or have you in my life. I'm only doing this because of my brother, okay?!' I paused, 'Did your little brain, get that?' A frown appeared on her forehead before she slowly nodded her head. Slowly turning her face to the window, I heard her say, 'Mr Grumpy.' under her breath. Mr Grumpy, that's me and no ones going to change that...
