'Do you think Jake will like these flowers?' I asked Ethan as I showed him the white flowers. He just shrugged, 'Yeah.' He quietly mumbled. 'Okay! Great!' I grinned. Walking over to the shop till, I paid for the flowers before skipping towards Ethan. 'Ready?' I asked. He slowly nodded his head and I linked arms with him. 'I wonder how Jake's doing?' I asked, looking up at the sky. 'Yeah.' Ethan agreed. For some reason, he was acting really weird lately. Eversince yesterday! I don't understand why though. He's not as cheery as he usually is and he keeps giving me short answers. He's not as sweet as he used to be and I have a fear that he's turning back to his old self. Mr Grumpy. 'Babe, are you okay?' We stopped walking. I looked at him but he stared at the ground, avoiding eye contact with me. 'Yeah.' He grunted. 'You don't look it. Is something bothering you? If you want we c-' 'I'm fine!' He snapped, storming off ahead. I frowned at the ground before catching up with him. As we saw the graveyard from a distance, we were both quiet. He wasn't in his cheery mood so I guess I should just keep my mouth shut. When we got to the gates, I slowly opened it and ran up to Jake's stone. Ethan trailed behind me. 'Jake!' I smiled, 'How are you? I bet you're really happy now wherever you are.' I heard Ethan's footsteps stop just behind me, 'Well..' I paused, getting up from the ground and placing my arm around Ethan, 'Ethan and I are happy now too, aren't we babe?' I looked up at him and smiled but all I received in return was his usual frown. He shrugged, making my hands fall beside my body. Ethan took a step forward away from me and sighed, 'Ariana, I need to tell you something.' His voice was cold. 'What is it?' He turned to face me, 'I never loved you...'
