'You what?' I mumbled. 'You heard me, Ariana.' He paused, 'I never loved you.' My heart skipped a beat as his words echoed in my head. Within seconds I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek. 'That's not true.' I shook my head, 'You're lying!' I shouted as I slapped him hard upon his chest. He just stood there and stared at the ground letting me hit him. 'Please, Ethan.' I cried, 'Don't joke with me like this. It's not funny.' He took a deep sigh before looking at me, 'Do you really think I'd love a girl who killed my own brother?' He frowned at me. 'What the hell are you talking about?!' I snapped at him. 'As if you don't know.' 'Know what?' There was a moment of silence as we gazed at each other. His brown eyes were watery as if he was about to cry. I could see the pain plastered on his face as he explained, 'He stopped taking medication because of you.' He paused before continuing, 'You're the reason why he died.' Those words hurt like hell. The boy I first fell in love with died because of me? How can this be? I never knew anything about it, I didn't even know Jake had died until a few weeks ago. I fell to the ground on my knees with tears pouring from my eyes. I stared at Jake's stone and mumbled, 'I didn't know. I'm so sorry.' 'I wish your sorry would bring him back. But that's never going to happen, will it?' He snapped, 'He will never come back.' I saw a tear roll down his cheek. I crawled to Jake's stone and touched the cold, beaten rock, 'I'm so sorry, Jake.' I mumbled. 'Ariana!' Ethan snapped coldly, 'I want you out of my house.' I turned to face him and nodded my head, 'Of course. I'll be gone by tonight.' I paused for a moment, 'But there's one thing I want to tell you first.'
