"I want to resign and leave this dark organization for good."
Mori shot Chuuya with his sharpened glare paired with a devil grin as he spoke, "And?"
The gingerhead was dumbfounded at the unexpected response. Chuuya sounded upset as he replied back, raising his volume, "A-And..?! Is that all you could say?"
"Does it bother you how calm I am as of the moment? Shouldn't you be relieved that I'm not mad whatsoever?" the boss continued on and on as he kept his relaxed tone.
Chuuya took a step forward, clenching a fist as he shouted, "You're planning something I don't know of, aren't you?!"
"Hmm? I don't know what you're talking about. Although it pains me to hear that you'll be leaving, you can't just make your exit without telling me your valid reason."
"I won't leave without you telling me your plans! Spit it out already!" he said, slamming his hands down on the large wooden table.
The tension between the two began to rise with one so heated up over what seems like nothing while the other's just grinning innocently at the situation.
Mori broke his angel-like grin to the executive as he questioned with a dead tone, "Chuuya, how much have you fallen for that woman?"
That single question pierced the man right through his chest. Now he knows what the boss is playing at. He's planning something against you.
Chuuya's pupils shrunk, trembling with panic lingering inside his stomach. "Wha... no. You don't mean-!"
Mori cut him off and stopped beating around the bush. "You're resigning because of her, am I correct? Knowing she's from the opposing organization, Chuuya, how could you betray the Port Mafia?"
"I'll take you on head to head if you dare to lay a hand on her!" he shouted with full anger swinging his arm roughly to the side.
"You swore loyalty to the Port Mafia, didn't you? I wonder how the others will look at you now."
"As if betrayal isn't a norm in this organization. The one I admired the most already betrayed me!"
"It was a matter between life and death. Of course, the obvious answer would be to sacrifice someone who isn't their selves. Wouldn't you do that as well?"
"It depends on the person on the line." Chuuya said in a softened tone then a short pause came before he continued, grumbling, "Tch, I'm going since you know my reasons without me spilling it to you."
The gingerhead placed the hat on top of Mori's desk then turned his back to him with his head fully focused on returning to your arms as he pictures your flower-like smile.
But within just a second before taking a step, Mori stopped him, saying, "Chuuya, let's make a deal. If you don't leave the Port Mafia, then I won't lay a hand on Y/n. But if you do..."
The burning rage in him overcame his emotions, swiftly acting on his own as he busted the floor with his gravity manipulation ability.
"As I thought so." the boss smirked as he showed a laidback attitude.
"Is that a yes then?" he questioned to the infuriated boy in front of him.
"Why do you still want me here? It just doesn't make sense!" Chuuya fought back to the man who he doesn't respect any longer.
