The Black Lizard members were awoken by countless numbers of gunshots fired at their usual meetup place. Their eyes widened in pure shock as it was like a purge down there. Members were killing each other left and right. There was no side of the room that wasn't left splattered with blood.

Hirotsu was heavily puzzled by everything that has been occurring however, that didn't stop him from taking huge action, ordering both Gin and Tachihara to stop this catastrophe this instant while he contacts their boss.

Hirotsu spoke in panic as he finally made it through the other line, "Boss! I-I don't know what's happening but-!"

"I just received some information about "brainwashed" ability users. Are your subordinates killing each other right now?" Mori responded with ease as his eyes scanned through the newspaper in his hand.

"Uh..uhm. Unfortunately, yes. How do we put an end to this disaster?"

"Do whatever you can even if it means ending their lives."

The call ended and Hirotsu was left quite hesitant with the boss's suggestion, observing his subordinates fight each other aggressively.

He thought to himself, This can easily put the Port Mafia into the worst-case scenario if our strongest members get brainwashed as well.

And indeed he was right. On the other side of the land of Port Mafia, Higuchi had been first affected by being naive in a fight with a brainwashed ability user alone. She then spread the effect to Akutagawa as she delivered a sneak attack on him.

The Port Mafia has now become a more hazardous area than before with only a few members left who haven't been brainwashed. This includes Chuuya along with Kouyou.

Mori sent them out on a mission to find whoever was responsible for this chaos and to punish them for good.

Chuuya, who's standing on top of a roof, spoke to Kouyou about their plan. With so little information collected about the sudden mission, they don't know where to start. "At a time like this, we should be moving our feet. It feels like we're just wasting time here, Ane-san."

Kouyou just had a laid-back mood as she watched the scenery of the current Yokohama. The smile on her face and her composure clearly tell that she isn't too worried about this event in the Port Mafia. "We can just always ask for help." she simply replied.

Surprised, he said, "Ask help? Do you mean from the agency?"

Kouyou turned her head to look at him with a smeared grin as her expression, "We don't have to directly ask for help. Have you gotten it yet?"

He soon landed on the same page as Kouyou. Stalking one of the agency members to extract some crucial information will be easy enough for them to do. After that, they would have to make a bigger step to reach the enemy.

A few minutes passed and they arrived at the agency building. Chuuya used his ability to stay beside the window of the office. He saw only one member, the weretiger, and was on his way to head out.

He signaled Kouyou to tail him from below while he stayed in the air to have a good view of where the weretiger's destination could be.

To his surprise, the weretiger entered a cafe just below the agency's office. They, too, entered the place and hid their faces, acting like a regular customer.
