The next day went by with ease, nothing out of the ordinary except for the fact that from time to time Chuuya popped inside your head, making you immediately lose focus on things for a good minute.

Maybe it was just your senses acting up but something's telling you that he's close by at some moments you were at the office either alone or with your colleagues.

At that night, you decided to go out and buy dinner for yourself and Aya. It's a shame you couldn't at least meet up with Chuuya for this day and maybe invite him to eat dinner together with the child.

As you already bought food and about to head back to the office, a glimpse of a familiar figure of a woman caught your attention. You had a feeling of the situation and went ahead to apprehend the woman, going into a dark corner of the street.

"Kouyou!" you called out for her to which she gladly turned around. You continued on with a determined look on your face, "Can you tell me where Chuuya is?"

"Why do you so desperately want to know his whereabouts? Aren't you just messing with him as said by your boss?" Kouyou replied with an attitude going on with her way of speaking.

"Huh? Where did you even get that information? You should know better since we basically shared a house for a few days." you answered, losing your temper to the enemy.

"Since you badly want to know, Chuuya left to who knows where. He already left the Port Mafia. The poor boy had a melancholic look as he was leaving. He was indeed suffering on the inside. I wonder who's the one to blame for that." Kouyou said as her sharp gaze turned to you.

You defended yourself to the enemy as you said with flames in your eyes, "Would you stop blaming me for his own decisions? You can't just keep Chuuya to yourself. You don't own him and he has his own life!"

"Hm, I thought that would have worked but I guess I'll have to follow the other route." Kouyou said, soon using her ability on you to keep you immobilized for the time being.

You were already backed up with no exit to run and with the weapon being so close to your vital area, you didn't dare to move.

"While Chuuya's busy continuing to spy on your coworkers, you're here with me about to be tortured to your last breath. How does that sound?" Kouyou asked, letting out a giggle at the end.

Your eyes widened as you let yourself be fooled by this lady. "Wh-What..? So you knew where he was all along..?!"

"Oh, don't move a finger, Y/n. You don't want to lose a limb right off the bat, right? C'mon now, let's get moving." she said, motioning her finger at you to follow from behind as she began to walk ahead.

You didn't have a choice but to obey her with hopes of getting out alive as early as possible. However, seems as though luck wasn't on your side for today.

Kouyou led you to a place that didn't feel like it was somewhere inside the Port Mafia's facility. It was more like a second place to be for the enemies to not pinpoint the original location.

The place looked like a tiny ordinary wooden shed being isolated from the busy crowd and bright buildings. But there was more than meets the eyes of the first timer.
