About a week now ever since the news about you has been flashed on the television, informing the whole country. Everyone believed that you were already dead except your family, the Armed Detective Agency (excluding Aya though).
"There is still no update regarding the unfortunate death of the ADA's employee, L/n Y/n. Local police are doing their best to figure out who is responsible for this tragedy. I wish for every citizen to be on high alert as the killer is still out on the loose."
Chuuya turned off the television, his eyes spoke tiredness and empty. With you being absent, he couldn't do much. Losing appetite and motivation. He does visit your grave every single day in hopes of you coming back or at least feeling your presence.
"I don't have you anymore. What about Aya? Where could she be right now?" Chuuya simply muttered to himself as he let the water run out of the faucet.
It then hit him! What if he searched for the child and try to continue the happy relationship with her for your sake? It was the only idea that could enter his mind and it was enough for him to move quick and snap out of this dark aura.
He rushed out of his house and headed towards the agency building. It was the easiest route to gaining information about her whereabouts after all.
Chuuya wished for her to be there inside the office and fortunately, Aya was there. She had such a joyful smile as she shared laughter together with the detectives present.
A soft smile formed on his face as he watched from a distance using his ability. But he thought of a plan to contact her. Maybe a deal for them to hand in the child?
That won't do especially since Chuuya's still tied to the Port Mafia. He would be just exposing her to rabid animals at that point. Well, what else can he do then? Just let the child stay with them until he could finally leave the organization?
That's just cruelty at its finest. Not only does he not get to spend time with Aya but he also has to stay in the Port Mafia for who knows how long without his own consent.
He was left with no choice but to just leave the girl alone, his chest wounded even more. Doubling the pain he felt from when he heard about what happened to you.
It was as if Chuuya's fated with being a lonely body. No heart to keep him happy, and no soul to have a source of happiness.
Aya laughed to her heart's content until she spoke of something that put Atsushi and Kyouka to silence. "So could you now tell me when will mama come back?"
The two only looked at each other then back to the child. Atsushi replied with a nervous voice, "I...we don't exactly know..!"
Kyouka sighed and showed a saddened expression, "Not all people who leave comes back, Aya. Most of them didn't even have any reason for it."
"Kyouka, that's a bit...too much." Atsushi said as he placed his hand on top of her shoulder.
Aya faced the two of them now with a depressed look. "Y/n won't come back..." she said almost whispering as her voice cracked. The choking sensation on her throat arose.
The white-haired boy panicked and tried his best to comfort the child while Kyouka sat there with a guilty look on her face. I wish I could tell her but it would ruin her plan.
The plan that would sever the thorns on the rose. To free them from unnecessary misery.
Later that day, you headed to the nearest mall and hid your appearance from the crowd, wearing a simple disguise that isn't too flashy that would make you stand out. Along that, you wore an earpiece given to you by Kunikida to make communication easier.
