Chapter 44

~~~timeskip of a few weeks~~~

We had an expedition that morning. For the first part of the expedition nothing much happened until we had to pass through a forest.

As far as I knew it was Petra, Oluo, Eld and Gunther's first expedition. We had to switch to odm gear to get through the forest.

As we were flying through it was eerily quiet. I looked around, half expecting a titan to jump out at us.

I turned around to see that everyone except Levi looked fucking terrified. Suddenly a titan did jump out at us, an abnormal.

Petra screamed and pissed herself. I couldn't help but start laughing. People that were unfortunately under her began yelling angrily.

"Petra pissed herself!" I yelled pointing at her, "Oluo too!"

They both started shouting at me, I just laughed as Levi went to kill the titan.

After clearing the forest we switched to horse back again. Soon enough we reached an abandoned village.

"We will stop here for a bit," said Levi, "People will be keeping a look out so if you see a flare be careful."

We tied our horses up and more or less just stood around for awhile. Petra and Oluo changed their trousers and underwear since they had pissed themselves earlier.

I was stood outside the Commander's tent with Oluo, Petra and Moblit. I overheard Hange bugging the Erwin about capturing a titan, of course her request was denied.

"You need to reconsider cmon!" She shouted as she exited the tent walking after the Erwin.

"Awee Hange is my titan not good enough?" I asked sarcastically.

"No of course not Ashy you're my favorite titan!" She yelled hugging me.

"I don't think you ever had a chance, the fact is people have to risk their lives to kill titans so asking them to catch one is just telling them that a titans life is worth more than their own." Oluo said to Hange.

He was then grabbed by the collar of his jacket and held in the air by her.

"I'm gonna ask you to picture something, are you ready?" Said Hange, "Captain Levi has decided he wants you dead, he's on his way. How do you react? Think you can take him?"

"I can take him.. not in a fight though." I muttered to myself, I saw that Hange had heard me and was trying to contain her laughter.

"Of course I can't! He'd kill me. And speaking of killing, your choking me!"

"Want me to tell you how you could win? Through intensive observation! You'd need to study everything about him, your only hope is to research every aspect of his behavior. Do this and eventually you'll find a weak spot you can exploit." Hange said, surprisingly managing not to laugh at what I said.

His weak spot is that he'll stop moving if you pick him up. He just stares at you in shock.

"Hange!" Shouted Petra

"Your choking him!" Said Moblit.

Hange dropped him and started laughing, "Sorry about that, just the way things are though so thanks for listening!"

And with that she walked away with Moblit trailing behind her.

"Could have listened better if I wasn't so busy dying.." Oluo said, "absolutely crazy."

After that I just walked away, I saw Levi on his horse so I walked over to talk to him.

"Levi?"

"Hm?"
