Chapter 55

That morning we had an expedition, we were riding through Trost on our way out.

"Look it's Captain Levi! They say he's like an entire brigade to himself!" Someone shouted.

"Tsk.. spare me please." Levi muttered under his breath.

"And Ash! The titan shifter!" Someone else said.

I've been Levi's husband for so long that people have just began calling me by my first name instead of my full name, like they do for Levi.

I looked over and saw Eren, according to his father I was supposed to meet him this year. I knew it was him because I remember from when I visited the cadet corps 3 years ago.

"That scowl will push away your fans!" Hange said leaning over to Levi, "Not that it's any of my business but from a public relations standpoint you might wanna rethink."

Levi scoffed and turned away.

"Don't worry I think your scowls cute." I whispered to him.

"Of course you would.."

The commander began giving a speech.

"Oh can't you just in-vision the horrors in store for us comrades! If we bag an abnormal I'll burst with tears of joy!" Hange shouted, "Don't worry though Ash you're my favorite abnormal!"

"Uhm thanks? I can't tell if that's an insult or not." I said.

"We already have an abnormal, besides Ash, right here." Levi sighed.

"Wait seriously?! Where?"

"I mean you." Levi said.

"Move out!" The commander announced.

We all began exiting the gate into wall Maria. We rode for awhile until we came upon a town. We basically just had to kill a few titans.

I tied down my horse on the outskirts of the city and flew in. I produced a small cut on my finger and transformed into my titan form.

A few hours in I saw someone being eaten by a titan and watched as Levi struck it down without a problem.

I watched as Petra, Eld and Gunther landed on the roof next to him.

"Captain, the reinforcements are here sir!" Petra announced.

"Good, tend to our comrade below Petra." He said, "you three take out the titan to your right, the two on the left belong to me."

"Captain wait-" I said but it was too late as he had already flown off.

Eld and Gunther went to the titan on the left. They landed on the floor before it pounced at them.

I looked up to see Hange speeding around on her odm gear.

"Wahooo!" She screamed as she neared the titan, "don't be scared big guy! I won't hurt you cross my heart and hope to die!"

The titan tried to grab her but she jumped out of the way with time to spare, "woah! Hahaha! A little slow there!" She shouted as she cut its nape.

I sighed as she landed on the floor, then went to do what I was supposed to.

I walked to Levi as he cut the nape of one titan, threw his swords at another one's eyes and landed on its head.

"Uh oh- easy big guy. Nobody's got time for a crybaby." He said as he drew two more swords, "let's take is as a man shall we."

Before he could do anything, I lunged forward and bit on the nape of the titan, ripping it off.

Levi jumped off its head and landed on a roof.
